ソーラーボードに乗って、月面の丘やクレーターをサーフしよう。キックフリップなどを練習して自由に過ごすも、ゴールへの中間地点へ直行するのも君次第。

全部で5184ヶ所あるエリアは順に生成され、ゲーム開始時の風景はアポロ計画を連想させることでしょう。月の反対側へ到着する頃には地形アルゴリズムは想像を超え、熟練者にだけ見ることを許されるこの世のものとは思えない地形へとなっていきます。

ムーンサーフィンのオンラインサーバーは全プレーヤーの進捗を管理しており、どのエリアがいつ征服されたか知ることができます。プレーヤー同士が一緒に探索していくのです。
