About Jumpin' Cubes
Play the legendary classic strategy board game "Jumpin' Cubes" now on your iPhone. Programmed by the developer of the original C64 game from 1989.
Two players take it in turns to place cube-shaped playing pieces in their respective colors on the 8 x 8 grid board.
A player may place a cube on an empty square or on a square already occupied by one of his own cubes. The face value of a square increases by 1 with each new cube that’s added to it.
When the face value of a square goes above the number of adjacent squares, this square spills over to the adjacent squares and a cube is moved to each of these
The face value of these squares is increased by 1 and they also change to the color of the spillover square. The value of the original square is then reduced by the number of cubes moved to the adjacent squares.
The opponent’s squares may only be captured by means of spillovers. As the board gets fuller and fuller, the frequency of spillover chain reactions increases.
The winner is the first player who could occupy all the squares with cubes in his color.
