About KidsArt Free

KidsArt is an innovative educational application which exposes your children to a multi-sensory experience of art.
Famous artworks by Salvatore Dali and Vincent Van Gogh become an interactive and animated game and children can have fun playing with the elements present in the paintings.
This Free version lets your children discover and enjoy Dali’s painting “The Persistence of Memory” and Van Gogh’s canvas “Starry night”; they will love see ants, clocks, stars and clouds brought to life, they will spend a playful and nice time catching bugs, making alarm clocks ring and helping fix the melting watches. Twinkling stars will catch children’s curiosity while the whole painting will enchant their eyes with whirling movements and objects in continuous evolution.
3 creative and original mini games introduce young children to Dali’s art and try to give them greater insight into the symbols and the meanings of his famous masterpiece. This task is achieved in a simple and intuitive way and involves manual skills, basic concepts of logic (numbers, flow of time) and funny sound associations.
With only a touch our little ones will go into an interactive and extraordinary display of Van Gogh’s masterpiece. The game animates the expressive brushstrokes and deeply involves the player in the motions and the flux of the depicted nighttime landscape. Children have at their fingertips the magic of nature sounds and bell tolling, the funny presence of swirling clouds, the power of the shining stars and the bright moon.
Well-known and beloved nursery rhymes enhance the game and learning experience creating a familiar and pleasant background.
Widely used methods of education encourage parents to expose children to fine art from birth on. In this way children can develop and learn a natural appreciation of art that will help them think creatively and rationally.
Why art is so important in kids’ development? Let’s have a look what studies say about that! Creating art expands a child's ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication. Art help to develop the right side of the brain and it also cultivates important skills that benefit a child's development. Moreover art can become a pivotal mode of uninhibited self-expression and amazement for a kid. Art is a fundamental component of what makes us uniquely human. At first art is like fun and games for young children.
This is the reason KidsArt has been created, to turn great and eternal art into a game for kids, and stimulate their visual learning. In this day and age where even toddlers know how to operate a smart phone or tablet, visual information consists of cues that your children get from pictures or three-dimensional objects from digital media, books and television. Children need to know more about the world than just what they can learn through text and numbers. Art education teaches how to interpret, criticise, and use visual information, and how to make choices based on it. Knowledge about the visual arts, such as graphic symbolism, is especially important in helping kids become smart consumers and navigate a world filled with marketing logos. KidsArt really makes famous paintings tell children about their selves not with words or texts but through symbols, interactive visual elements and sounds.
Now every parent has a new amazing tool to stimulate in their children artistic sense, imagination, exploration, reasoning and moreover ... just playing together!
And if your curiosity is more demanding just press the “i” button and an Info Screen will give you more information about the painting that you can share and discuss with your children too.
KidsArt is an ad-free application without any in-app purchase. Its interface is easy-to-navigate and developed to suit and entertain young children aged 2+.
