O Kitsur Shulchan Aruch, o Código da Lei Judaica Abreviado, foi escrito em 1864 pelo R. Shlomo Gantzfried Z"L e se tornou um dos livros básicos do Judaísmo, presente em todas casas, sinagogas e Batei Midrash. Em 2008, foi publicada a primeira tradução ao português (feita pelo Rabino Yossef Benzecry) pela Editora Maayanot. Agora, sua versão digital chega pela primeira vez grátis ao seu iPhone ou iPod Touch.

Agora o Kitsur Shulchan Aruch é um aplicativo universal, funcionando também no iPad.

Na versão iPad:
- Possibilidade de dividir a tela em hebraico/português, além de visualizar somente o texto em uma das línguas.
- A barra de busca está visível e não necessita ser ativada por um botão.

Na versão iPhone:
- A maioria dos gráficos foram atualizados para a Retina Display do iPhone 4.
- Possibilidade de leitura no modo paisagem (landscape).
- A barra de busca agora não é mais ativada pelo botão, mas está no topo do índice (estando inicialmente escondida, como padrão na maioria dos aplicativos iOS). Para ser visualizada, pode ser acessada tanto pela barra lateral (com os números dos capitulos, encostando na lupa), ou arrastando o índice para baixo.
- Correção do bug que escondia a barra lateral do índice após uma busca.
- Correção do bug que fechava o aplicativo após autocorreção na barra de busca. Agora, a autocorreção está desativada na barra de busca.
