KiwiViewer 2.0 contains a redesigned user interface optimized for iPhone and iPad retina displays, new data access and data formats, and advancements to the visualization engine. Dropbox users can link KiwiViewer to enable in-app browsing of datasets stored in Dropbox. Also new is Midas integration, allowing users to browse public, private, and shared folders hosted on Midas, and download datasets from within KiwiViewer.
Several new ParaView integration features are now available, including the ParaView Mobile Remote Control which allows users connect directly to the ParaView desktop application and transfer geometry and scene information. Touch interactions in KiwiViewer are transmitted back to remotely control the ParaView camera.
