• A new bookmark icon now takes you to the last spot you were reading in each book, from the home screen or a book’s table of contents. Tapping the book itself takes you to the table of contents.
• Deleting items is now done by tapping a trashcan icon.
• The app now tells you how many of your monthly download limit you have used. This appears after you download and on the Profile screen.

The process for downloading titles has been greatly streamlined:

You can now add titles in the app by tapping the plus-sign icon right on the home screen, and then searching or browsing for titles. The browse feature lets you peruse all of Knovel’s titles by category. When you tap a title's individual plus-sign to add it, the button changes to the message "Added, Start Reading," which you can then tap to start the download. The old function to Find Titles, which opened the Knovel website, has been removed.

To find titles to download, a new search function has been added directly in the app. When you add titles, the top bar will include a search box where you can search the Knovel website for any information and add those titles that are mobile enabled. The old function to sync the titles you’ve added directly on the Knovel website now happens automatically when you start the app, and is available on the menu if you want to force it to occur at any time.

A small number of the resources that are available on the Knovel website are not available in the mobile app. These will initially appear in the app and be indicated with a padlock icon, along with an explanation at the bottom of the title’s information. This will enable mobile users to be aware of even resources that might be available only online. You can hide these items with a new "Hide Unavailable" link at the top of the screen. This feature will also show and hide titles that are outside your organization’s subscriptions if that functionality is enabled by your organization.

When reading the content of a title, the navigation buttons in the toolbar will now jump across chapters (from the end of one chapter to the beginning of the next, and vice-versa).
