About EchoVis Game
EchoVis Game is a simple audio game aimed at the blind and visually impaired, among others. The main purpose of this game is to demonstrate one of the many ways in which smartphones can be used to develop the hearing skills of people with visual impairments. People without vision problems are also encouraged to try their hearing skills.
There are several levels in this game, each with a different type of environoment and different tasks to compleate.
The main tasks for the user in adventure game are to compleate the scenarios presented before the start of the level, paying attention to various gameplay elements that threaten the player's virtual life.
This should be done primarily by analysing the sound information delivered to the player's ears. Thereforge, we recommend playing with stereo headphones connected to the smartphone and without looking at the screen. All necessary messages are read out to the user by the speech synthesizer.
In our opinion, this application can be successfully used, for example, by instructors of spatial orientation or trainers conducting training on bringing the way the blind perceive the world to sighted people.
In the Project, we have planned to create 3 games to achieve this goal. We are doing this as part of the Echovis project – for more information about it, see the website www.echovis.tt.com.pl.
We encourage you to give us your feedback, ideas, possible errors in the operation of the application, etc.

In this update, we have prepared 3 new levels of the EchoPong game. We have increased the difficulty of the game by introducing several new elements:
• The ball rolls faster,
• There are now 2 different ball sounds – randomly selected at the beginning of each game for a point,
• The ball can bounce off the boards up to 2 times before it reaches you,
• You can adjust the force of hitting the ball with the paddle,
• You can set the paddle at an angle – this allows you to bounce the ball sideways,
• You can also move the paddle in a linear/continuous manner,
• On 2 levels, we place obstacles in the middle of the table.
It was easy already, :D now we set big challenges for you. We believe that you will take them on and manage to win.

We are pleased to introduce a new game called EchoPong.
The rules of our virtual game are similar to those used in games you may know from the real world, such as: Showdown, table tennis for the blind, air hockey, ping pong for the blind, pinball.
Detailed information about the rules and how to play the game can be found in the descriptions.
We will add more EchoPong levels in the next updates. It will be more difficult and more interesting :D
