Melodee Audio File Player

Have a file-based music collection? Melodee is the app for you.

- File Management
Melodee is a file focused audio player. It supports file management directly from the built-in iOS/iPadOS Files app, so you don't have to fumble with share sheets, AirDrop, or cloud storage services.
No import or sync is necessary, move your audio files directly to the Melodee folder in the 'On My iPhone/On My iPad' folder, and Melodee will automatically pick them up. You can also select your own folder to playback from.
Melodee also supports renaming and deleting files in-app.

- Audio Player
Melodee supports playing MP3, M4A, WAV, and ALAC audio files.
You can queue files for playback, play entire folders, and control audio playback from your Lock Screen, Control Center, or even your Apple Watch.

- Tag Editor
Melodee supports editing the following fields in MP3 files: Title, Artist, Album, Album Artist, Year, Track Number, Genre, Composer, Disc Number.
You can also select an album art to attach to your MP3 files.
Additionally, you can use advanced replacement tokens that use information from a file's file name to fill out tag data.
You can easily edit multiple files at one go, changing only the fields you want to change.

- Wide File Support
Melodee supports previewing images, PDF documents, and text files.
If your audio files come in the form of a ZIP archive (such as when purchased from Bandcamp, etc), Melodee can also help you extract them.
Simply drop your ZIP archives into the Melodee folder, and open them in the Melodee app.

Note: Editing many files at once, or using large album art images may result in longer save times.
