New Features
* Express Mode
This feature enables you to use the Kramer Control mobile app to sign into control mode for a space without providing Kramer Portal credentials. You only need to provide the brain IP address, as well as the project pin code, for additional security in order to gain access to controlling the space. This feature enables the integrator to use the Kramer Control mobile app on a handset that is not connected to the Internet and, therefore, has no means of authentication.
* Custom States
This feature enables defining and later, using or modifying user defined (custom, as oppose to device driver) state values. The concept of a custom state is very similar to a variable. The user is able to define a custom state, its type and a default value in the Builder. The custom state then can be referenced in button functions, events or macros and compared with other device states within a conditional state. To modify the custom state value while in control mode, we’ve added the Set Custom State action that enables selecting the source of the new custom state from the following 3 options: constant value, another state or user input.
* User Input
This feature enables configuring a button that prompts interface users to enter a value when they press the button. To use the feature: When configuring a button in the Builder, drop a Command or Set Custom State action onto a button function, then define the source of the parameter or state value as user input.
* Reorder elements in the Builder
User can now arrange Devices, User Interface elements, Macros, and Events in any custom order. Prior to this release, items were only arranged in the order they were added.
* Copy/Paste UI elements in the Builder
Added the ability to copy/paste UI widgets across different browser windows and across projects. This feature enables copying associated images between projects, as well, and place them in an auto-generated image library.
Improvements
* Support for mainstream browsers for Manager, Builder and Dashboard
Support has been added for Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer and MS Edge web browsers. Prior to this release only Google Chrome was supported. Google Chrome is still the preferred browser to use with Kramer Control.
* Project and Space information updates in the Manager
Upon adjusting Project/Space information in the Manager, all associated provisioned brains are automatically notified and fetch relevant data from the server. Prior to version 1.2.0, you needed to access the space (or multiple spaces in case project info has changed) in the Builder and publish changes to the brain from the Builder.
* Fetching data from the brain in the background on mobile apps
When the mobile app connects to the brain and fetches all the relevant data, like layouts and images, the mobile app does not display the blue synchronizing screen that takes over the User Interface as it was prior to version 1.2.0, but it is done in the background without interrupting the user experience when entering control mode.
* Additional Hardware
Support for new gateways was addded for the following Kramer Hardware: FC-6, FC-6P, FC-7, FC-7P, NT-52P and FC-54P
