Sich mit aktueller Kunst zu beschäftigen ist eine Form der Gastfreundschaft, die unserer katholischen Kirche von ihrem Ursprung her aufgetragen ist. Unter dem Logo „Andrä Kunst“ läuft seit Dezember 1999 eine permanente Auseinandersetzung mit zeitgenössischem Kulturschaffen im Kirchenraum von St. Andrä. Die Kirche wird dabei nicht als Ausstellungsraum behandelt, sondern als spirituell definierter Raum Gottes und der Menschen, in dem gezielte Interventionen einen wichtigen Dialog eröffnen.
