Lanyrd.com makes it easier to find professional events and conferences. See events your Twitter contacts are attending & speaking at. Create a profile of events you've spoken at. Catch up on slides & videos from events you've attended or missed.
Lanyrd for iOS helps you get more out of events while you're there. It stores information about conferences you're attending directly on your device - so even when there's no wifi you can see the conference schedule, attendee & speaker directories.

* We have now launched the ability to log in to Lanyrd with LinkedIn or with a username and password, this iOS release pushes an update to allow you you to sign into our mobile app with these services too.
* This release fixes an issue with login on initial run that a few people reported. Thanks for the feedback!

- We’ve fixed some bugs around messages: your message count on your profile page and on the Lanyrd icon should now be correct. The message list should now also update when a new message arrives.

- Some users reported issues with a double-display of Twitter usernames at login. We have now fixed this.

We've given the Lanyrd app a shiny new design. We've refreshed every part of the app to be smoother, cleaner and easier to understand.
There are also lots of other improvements, including:
* Better offline support; we store events you are attending offline and load them instantly - no need to wait for the conference wifi and more convenient for when you're out and about.
* Improved Suggested Events; we have renamed this tab from 'Contacts' Events'. We still show you suggested events that your contacts are going to or interested in, but we now also show you upcoming events that have been added to guides you follow. This is similar to what we already do on lanyrd.com.
* New Profile tab; this is a new tab showing your profile so you can easily see your information.
* Better event schedules; we know lots of events have large schedules so we've redesigned the schedule page to make it easier for you to navigate. Events with long schedules can also now be searched.
* Improved speaker pages; these now include more information on each speaker including their bio if we have it, which sessions they're speaking at, upcoming speaking engagements, and events they're attending or are involved with.
* Improved people pages; similar to the speaker pages, these now include more information on each attendee, including their upcoming events. This provides you with more ways to connect with others during events
* Share more!; you can use our new "share" button to Tweet, email or share almost everything in the app, including the events, search and session pages. This makes it easy to share cool events you've found.
* About; we've updated our about section with a bit of a design refresh and to give you more information about the application.

Lanyrd Release 1.1 Notes
This update is to fix a number of issues in our earlier release. These include:
- Some users noted that the app crashed frequently. We have now fixed this.
- Some users reported issues with an "Asset Cache" message if their phone memory was full, this is now fixed.
- A few users had problems logging in with Twitter and received a "null" message. We have now fixed this.
- The app used to crash if you entered the wrong Twitter username/password on an iOS4 device. We have now fixed this.
- Search results now link to the correct events.
- If you've saved events offline, these are now only refreshed if you are connected to wi-fi.
- We have added a "You are here" marker to the maps.
- Some of our list views were inconsistent, we have now fixed this.
- We've made our spinners more consistent throughout the app.
- We've improved how our app handles changes between being online/offline. Your phone will now detect if you go online again and properly load events, even if you were offline with the app was started.
