Finding a readily available charger regardless of where your Tesla travels take you couldn't be easier in this latest release!

Teslarati has partnered with ChargePoint, the world’s largest EV charging network, to provide Tesla drivers with even more charging options! In addition to finding Superchargers and destination chargers, our newly improved map allows you to also quickly find nearby CHAdeMO and Level 2 charging stations. Performance of the map has also been substantially improved.

Checking-in photos and recommendations on lodging, food, activities, and beyond, has become even more fun with the tens of thousands of new charging locations being added! As always, find, explore, share, and connect with others across your Tesla journeys!

Want to be notified of new Tesla Superchargers only in North America but still have interest in seeing new Destination Chargers being added across Asia and Australia? You can do that in this latest release!

This update introduces the ability for you to select notifications by region.

This is our biggest update yet!

With all of the great news stories being covered about Tesla, SpaceX, Elon Musk, and beyond - plus fantastic CHECK-IN photos + recommendations by Tesla owners from across the world - on top of engaging discussion taking place in our FORUM, this release 1.12.19 marries all of the great content into a seamless feed under the existing Activity Feed.

We've also added finer-control of notifications so you can pick and choose exactly the type of content to be notified of! Performance of loading news comments have also been substantially improved and now appear instantly.

This update brings a significant improvement to the speed in which map icons load. Sign-up via Facebook has also been improved, making for a single-click sign up process. Engage with other app users by liking the best check-in recommendations near your favorite charging locations. Be sure to check out all of the interaction taking place under your 'Activity Feed'!

A big thank you for bearing with us as we worked hard to re-haul the entire underlying commenting system, replacing Disqus with our very own integrated discussion through the Teslarati forum! This build introduces the ability to interact directly on the forum (let's chat Model 3!), send private messages with other users, and join in discussion directly from the app.

We've also added the ability to view and reply to comments on news articles through the app. Please note that this feature is in BETA and we're working as quickly as possible to also add the ability to comment directly from the news page, in an upcoming release. In the interim, we encourage you to comment and join in discussion directly through the "Forums" menu item.

Additional Features:

- Performance improvements: lighter CPU and memory usage to maximize device battery life! (yes, our devs really geek out about these type of features that never get noticed)

By popular demand, we've added a new search capability under NEWS that allows you to find the content you want! Interested in learning more about how to change the battery on your Tesla key fob? Search "How to change the Tesla key fob battery?". Do you want to see the latest Gigafactory drone videos? Search for it! There's no limitation on what to search for, whether it's news, how-tos, reviews or thrilling Tesla drag racing videos, we have it all!

**** CUT THE NOISE ****
We've also added a shortcut under notifications that allows you to quickly toggle on/off notifications based on your preferences. A future release will enable the ability to set notifications by region (U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific) so bear with us as we work on building that out!

**** MAKE IT PRETTY ****
This latest release also fixes a few formatting issues that affected news articles by causing unnecessary spacing and overlapping images when an image gallery was present.

We've also included the ability to select from U.S. or Metric units, under Settings.

**** BYE DISQUS ****
Lastly, we've removed the ability to comment through Disqus as we prepare to roll out integration into our new Teslarati forum that marries article content with discussion.

This latest version introduces several new visual enhancements that will allow you to easily view check-ins from across your 'favorited' Tesla locations, and from those that you 'follow'. We've also added a new 'Videos' section that highlights posts containing interactive media (ie. Ludicrous mode drag racing videos, drone video of the Gigafactory). A great way to kill time when charging!
