Interested in your local indigenous culture but not quite sure how to start learning and getting involved?

Loving your own reconnection and language learning journey but struggling to find immersion opportunities?

Fluent, well connected, and keen to spend more down time in your own language and culture?

Lingogo is built for you.

---

Why did we build Lingogo?

Because the world loses an entire indigenous language and its culture every fortnight.
We’re not keen to accept that stat and sharing our stories is an awesomely effective way to crush it.

Because language and culture is key to our sense of identity and belonging.
Research shows supporting and increasing indigenous people’s sense of identity is vital to closing the ridiculous socio-economic gap between us and non indigenous populations.

Because there’s some kinda freaky politics going on globally.
And we see a need for more people to be seen celebrating diversity and respecting indigenous knowledge.

Because indigenous people are the original storytellers and man can they entertain.

---

How to use Lingogo:

1. Choose an awesome story from the Lingogo shelf.
2. Scan the first sentence in an indigenous language.
3. Tap your sentence to read its English translation and listen to its native speaker narration.
4. Repeat with every sentence. Keep the flow going (don’t worry about or stop for unfamiliar words).
5. Celebrate. You’re picking up language and cultural concepts without even thinking about it. AND you’re revitalising indigenous languages and cultures - that makes you a hero!

---

What you’ll love about Lingogo:
