About LISA Diabetes
Livongo-Insulia Study App (LISA) for diabetes is a prescription-only app used as part of a research study and uses clinical algorithms to recommend basal insulin doses that are tailored to you.
As part of your participation in the study, your doctor will prescribe the app and a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs will be created. After syncing your fasting blood glucose values from your Livongo meter with Insulia, Insulia will recommend your basal insulin doses every day.
Since Insulia connects to a corresponding web portal, the study staff will be able to follow your progress in real-time and help you when needed.
