We have re-written the app completely, to cater for new changes and future functionality. The new codebase will allow us to release updates and new features more quickly.
The update ensures that the Loadshedding app is compatible with iOS 9 and also fixes certain bugs.
We added new functionality to support new ad features, because we have to pay the bills, support the app and develop new functionality soon, while we still need to live with Load shedding.
Oh yes, and we have made deleting a suburb a little bit easier, for those that do not want to swipe to the left. We have included a delete button on the schedule screen.

The Load Shedding App covers more schedules including the following suburbs/areas:
- Eskom
- City Power - Johannesburg
- City of Cape Town
- Durban - Ethekwini
- Ekurhuleni
- City of Tshwane
- Nelson Mandela Bay (PE)
- and many more
You can now request a suburb/area to be added from inside the app, if you cannot find it.
You can even report a problem with a load shedding schedule for your area, if you believe it to be incorrect.
We have added the ability to add schedule dynamically from the server, so no need to wait for a new update.
Bug fixes:
1. The Delete Suburb issue is finally fixed. Now you can delete a suburb.
2. iPad sharing feature and send feedback via email are fixed.
