About Lot-o-Lotto
Lot-o-Lotto is an easy way to pick lottery numbers and explore the money that a winning lottery ticket will bring. It's a great tool to imagine the money you would get from winning the lottery. You can use it to explore the different scenarios on the money you would win. The main screen presents 26-year payout information and the return on the cash payout. You can control the calculations by setting a variety of values.

Enter values for:
▪ The lottery total for the draw you are playing in millions
▪ The current interest rate you would expect to receive
▪ The amount you would pay in taxes
▪ The amount your lottery pays for a cash payout
▪ The number of winning lottery tickets sold (why would you image more people would win with your numbers, but it's here if you want to use it)
▪ The number of people you bought your ticket with (in the event you purchase your tickets as a group)
Lot-o-Lotto will calculate:
▪ The amount you would receive after taxes the first year of a 26-year payout
▪ The amounts you would receive each year if you take the 26-year payout
▪ The amount you would receive before and after taxes if you take the cash payout
▪ The amount you would receive annually from investing the after taxes cash amount
Lot-o-Lotto will help you speculate about the “what-ifs”. You can quickly see what would happen if multiple winning tickets are sold or what your share would be if you bought your ticket with others. This is great for everyone who plays the lottery individually or in a group.
