Hey Lucky 21 fans,
Thank you all so much for the overwhelming responses and energy! We at Simple Machine are very excited to release this new version featuring an all new way to play the game - POINTS mode!
POINTS MODE
- Play against 2 decks of cards and see how many points you can get, using the same rules as before.
- Instead of levels, you are now trying to earn Multipliers which double when you get Blackjack.
- Be careful though, any losses will reset your Multiplier and reduce your points.
- Can you reach the top of our Daily Leaderboard?
Other Features in this version
- Info button which shows tells you how to play the game and provides some tips on how to excel in Lucky 21.
- Leaderboards are now active. Check your rankings against players from all over the world!
- Achievements are now active. Complete all the levels in LEVEL mode to gain all the achievements.
- Balancing some numbers. Decks are now cheaper and the percentage to get gems per card is increased.
- Minor bugs and tweaks to improve and ensure an amazing game experience.

Thanks for playing Lucky 21! We're so happy so many of you are enjoying playing it so much. We put a lot of love into this game (as you can probably tell), and we plan to keep adding to it as we go along. :: Secret Facebook deck ::
We've added an unlockable deck into the game, but you'll have to ask us how to unlock it. We really want to connect with our fans so we can grow and continue to make amazing games. To do that, we need you ... and in return, we'll tell you how to unlock that secret deck :)
:: Lowered cost of new decks to 200 gems ::
When we make games we do our best to get everything right on the first release. After releasing Lucky 21, thanks to your reviews and feedback, we understand that the decks take waaay too long to unlock. For this update we've lowered the cost of all decks to 200 gems, and we will continue to work on this until we get it right.
:: When offered 2nd chance, shows incorrect wins (was resetting now fixed) ::
We noticed that when the option to get a second chance appears the bar was staying at your current progress but the number of wins needed was already resetting. We fixed that.
:: Facebook and twitter links updated for in-game sharing ::
We added prepopulated links into the Twitter and Facebook share buttons so when people see your post they can click on a link to download the game. We meant to have this in at launch but we missed it. It really helps for people who see your post and want to know what it is. And special thanks to all of you who are sharing your games, it is by far one of the most powerful ways for people to hear about our games who haven't yet. Thanks for spreading the word!!
:: Sound settings saved on exit and restart ::
We found that the sound settings did not save when you left the game and returned. They will do so now so when you set your sound preference it will remain as such until you change your mind.
:: “RIGHT” and “LEFT” added to the tutorial ::
We tweaked the tutorial to have these words under the proper sides. It's a small change but we think it will help new players pick up the game a little faster.
Ok, that's the new update. We realize there are some additional issues still pending. Some of you mentioned that you feel the aces might not be fair in the game - we are discussing it currently. Also, there's some mention of the game feeling too hard once your reach higher levels - we have an idea to add some rolling challenges that give gems when completed, this way there's always something to work towards. We are also discussing some 2 player challenges so you can take on your friends.
