- Community Whitelists support good websites and advertisers. Once enabled, this feature disables ad blocking on sites that have been frequently whitelisted by Magic Lasso users. Through anonymous crowd-sourcing of whitelists, ads are only allowed on sites the community deem worthy.
- Battery Boost: Along with doubling the speed at which web pages view and load, version 2.0 can now also improve battery life. With Battery Boost, additional ad blocking rules target and block JavaScript which use significant CPU energy; ensuring pages are responsive while improving browser battery life.
