We have another release for you that goes a long way to improving the experience in our App. If you used a larger font size in articles and found the app was crashing because of it, then that should happen no more, we squashed that bug! We also improved our comment count, and even added Google Sign in, so you can use the same account on our website and in the app too. A small number of our users who use their account across more than one of our apps, have logged in only to see their saved topics all go missing, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We are sorry this happened, and we have fixed that bug to make sure it doesn’t happen in future - You can head to the My News tab to set those up again.
We have also fixed a number of visual elements and things behind the scenes to improve the experience.

We have a small update for all our readers, and it is quite an important one. Did you notice we hadn't made it clear how many free articles you get per week? Yes, we did too, and we humbly apologise.
In light of this, we have updated the messaging to make it more clear, and also included a reset timer, once you reach your limit, to let you know when you get access to free articles again.
We also fixed a couple of Dark Mode UI bugs and some other fixes behind the scenes to keep things ticking over nicely.

This is a quick release that fixes a bug for our Subscribers. As a subscriber did you notice that after you restarted the app, ads were showing again? We hunted down this nasty bug, vanquished it, and now everything is as it should be. We apologise to all our loyal subscribers for any inconvenience caused while we fixed the issue. This one is a big release! Not only are we back with new features, but we fixed some annoying bugs too, here are the highlights:
Discover is under going a make over, and in this release sees the first of some new UI changes. Your followed authors and tags are displayed in a whole new way to make discovering new articles even easier. This is just the first step in a bunch of updates that we have coming for Discover in future.
We have also fixed a bunch of bugs including one for iPad, which puts the close icon back in its rightful place after it went walk about. Also you can no longer include spaces in your Display Name for commenting, and we have fixed a bunch of other smaller UI and code bugs to give this release its well earned 8.2 release number.

This release is an important one. This will be the last release for iOS13, it was a tough decision to make, but in order to advance the app we need to move to new technologies that aren’t available for iOS13. To continue receiving future updates with all new features and more, please update your device to iOS14 or above.
So for this final iOS 13 supported release:
- We have an all new navigation style that pins to the top of the view when you scroll… it's really rather lovely!
- We have a new large article preview format, for our first top story on iPad. This we think, uses the space better and we hope you like it.
- We have added new topic recommendations into top stories, so you can see what else is going on in other news that might interest you.
- And of course, we fixed a bunch of bugs, made more optimisations for speed, and completed some UI updates for good measure.
We have some really cool updates in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for more, and remember - to download them you will need iOS14 or above.

Here is a mighty fine maintenance update that resolves some issues a very small group of users were seeing.
Have you been logged in and tried to view the comments, only for them to simply not appear? If you did, then we believe that annoying bug has now been fixed. We also fixed some other minor issues and cleared out a few cobwebs.

As promised, we are back with a big update! So what goodies do we have for you this time?
1. Comment History! If you love to comment, and see how your comments are being received, then head to the My Account tab and you will see a new option to access “My Comments”. You can even load the original article from there too.
2. Have you ever tried to watch a Live Video only to find it doesn’t work? A right pain we know. This has now been fixed, so grab a snack and enjoy!
3. Finally, one for you techies, we of course fixed a bunch of bugs, updated dependencies and frameworks all to keep your experience silky smooth

In our first autumnal update, we would like to announce a big update to Voice Over Mode. This one is for our accessibility users, and it now actually works and rather well too! We have made some more improvements to the app to help with your experience.
• Dark Mode for iOS 13 now works in tandem with your devices dark mode setting, but can also still be on/off independently.
• We updated the tablet view for Discover and made some minor tweaks for the iPhone view while we were at it.
• At the bottom of articles we added a list of all the tags associated with that story so you can find related content more easily.
• Speaking of the bottom of an article everything there, now loads with a snap, no more waiting for content to load.

• Dark Mode! Yep we support iOS13 Dark Mode setting! If you don't have iOS 13, you can still use dark mode by setting it manually in the app under the "My Account" tab.
• Saving a Tag! Finding related content using tags is great, but now you can save your favourite tags to get to that content even faster.
• Discover Updates! Access your saved Tags and saved Authors from the Discover view and we also gave Discover a quick lick of paint too.
