■ Add to Playlist
• When the 'Allow Adding to Multiple Playlists' setting is enabled, clicking on a playlist no longer adds music to the selected playlist instantly, but waits until you are done with choosing all your playlists and click ‘Save’.
• Enabled playlist searching when the Add to Playlist screen is set to view as Home.

■ Displayed Metadata
• Added “Accent” for the Color setting option that automatically uses your chosen accent color for the metadata color.

■ Player
• Added the option to hide Full-Player artwork.
• Added the option to edit Displayed Metadata for the Queue Songs. Set up from Marvis Settings → Player → Queue → Displayed Metadata.
• [Last.fm] Displayed Metadata for Mini-Player & Full-Player now supports Global Scrobbles, Listeners Count, and My Scrobbles for Albums, Album Artists, and Artists in addition to previously being available only for Songs.

■ Smart Rules
• The “Maximum Items” limit rule now lets you choose the media type for which you want to limit the number of items. For example, in a song-based section, you can now apply a maximum 3 artists limit and it’ll show songs from 3 artists only.
• Remember, having a sort rule before your limit rule helps you to apply a limit on your given sort criteria. For example, having a shuffle sort before a 25-song limit will provide you with 25 random songs.

■ More
• Enabled the ability to drag media selections outside of Marvis, so that you can seamlessly drop content out of Marvis and to apps like MusicBox which have support for drop to import.
• Fixes and improvements.

8.2 2022-10-09
We’ve all been enjoying iOS 16 and having fun customizing our Lock Screens. In this update, we’ve added support for Lock Screen widgets in Marvis.

■ Section Widget
• Link a section you’ve set up on your Home tab.
• Assign an action to play or shuffle the section when you tap on the widget.
• TIP: Rename a section and assign a symbol to the left or right decoration so the section widgets can use those symbols.
• IMPORTANT: Due to major changes to the widget format, all your previous Home Screen Section widgets would either be removed or show up blank, and you’ll need to add new ones.

■ Quick Action Widget
• Get quick access to Marvis from your Lock Screen.
• You have access to many of the Marvis actions like Now Playing actions and Sidebar actions but you’re not limited to that, you can have your custom actions and assign a URL Scheme to them.
• With custom actions, you’re not limited to Marvis URL Schemes, you can use URL schemes of other apps or HTTP links that open in your default browser or app.
• The custom actions let you choose your own symbol and title and the widget settings have more options to make your widget appear the way you prefer.

■ Modern Progress Bar
• New iOS 16 style progress bar that allows you to start dragging from anywhere to scrub.
• You can switch back to the old style from Marvis Settings → Player → Progress Bar Style.
• Regardless of the style you choose you still get the ability to start dragging from anywhere to scrub.

■ New Smart Rules and metadata for Collections.
• Rate Progress
• Like Progress
• Median Play Count

■ New Smart Rule
• Current Date & Time
• You can use this rule to set up different conditions based on the time of day, day of the week, or day of the month.

■ Smart Conditions for Section Rename
• Includes a special condition ‘Displayed Location’, to toggle content based on whether it appears in-app or in the widget.

■ Added New Symbols to the Symbol Picker
• You can find them at the bottom of the symbols list.
• The original symbols are from Apple’s SF Symbols Library while the newly added ones are custom symbols made by us.
• Thanks to SF Symbols, we can build our own custom symbols while getting all the benefits of properties that SF Symbols have.

■ URL Schemes
• Open Home Section by ID. Copy a Section’s ID from the Section Edit screen and scroll down to find the ••• button.
• Section Playback Action, you can now directly play, shuffle, and more when using an Open Section URL Scheme.
• Now Playing Actions, perform actions for the now playing media, like view details, go to artist, go to album, add to playlist, and more.
• Sidebar, quickly access the sidebar or switch tabs using the Sidebar URL Scheme.
• You can view all supported URL Schemes from Marvis Settings → Tips & Tricks.

■ Miscellaneous
• Removed Clipboard Monitoring setting due to the iOS 16 paste prompts that prevent us from reading a clipboard automatically and without reading the clipboard, we can’t tell whether the copied link is a music URL.

• Added a setting to disable the Show Complete Album button inside Albums. Toggle it from Marvis Settings → Apple Music → Show Complete Album Button.

• Fixes and improvements.

Have fun customizing your Lock Screens!

We’ve been working hard on a brand new update with a revolutionary enhancement to the Displayed Metadata feature and so much more.

DISPLAYED METADATA
‣ Choose what metadata you see in each label and use smart conditions for intricate customizations.
‣ Metadata customization is not only available for cells on the list or grid but also for mini-player and full-player.
‣ Metadata isn’t limited to media metadata but you can also add symbols or custom text.
‣ Use smart conditions on your metadata to conditionally show/hide them based on rules you set up. For example, you can use the new smart filter ‘Is Now Playing’ to conditionally show a symbol that would only appear if the song is the now-playing song.
‣ With all the new tools, the possibilities are endless, and we have plans to implement even more.
‣ We can’t wait to see how you use the new metadata feature to personalize Marvis.

RENAME SECTIONS
‣ With the help of new tools built for Displayed Metadata we’ve added support for advanced customization for section headers.
‣ You can now add symbols to left or right positions.
‣ You can also add some of the supported metadata, like ‘Items Count’ or ‘Selected Sorting’ to section labels.
‣ We’d love to see your brand new setups with these new section customizations.

SMART FILTERS
‣ Is Now Playing
‣ Selected Sorting
‣ Size (per minute)
‣ (For Collections Only) Played Tracks Count, Play Progress, Unplayed Tracks Count, Unplayed Ratio

CREATE STATION
‣ Play Song or Artist stations from Marvis using action sheets.
‣ If you don’t prefer to view this action, disable it from Advanced Settings → Action Sheet.
‣ Thanks to a fellow developer, Rudrank Riyam for helping me realize the way to create radio stations for songs.

LAST.FM+
‣ Text Replacement now supports adding Smart Conditions to a replacement pair that would trigger replacement only if the conditions are met.

GESTURES
‣ Added support for swipe gestures to mini-player.
‣ Added support for triple-tap gestures in addition to the exiting double-tap gestures.
‣ Added ‘Pop to Previous Page’ action to navigation bar gestures.
‣ Added ‘Go to Artist’ action for mini-player and full-player.
‣ Added ‘Toggle Player App’ action for all gestures.

PER-SECTION SETTINGS
‣ You can now toggle the ‘Show Like Button’ and ‘Quick Action’ settings on a per-section basis for song-based sections.
‣ Added additional sort options to the section settings that were previously only available inside of Smart Rules.
‣ Added support for 7 & 8 columns for standard and cover flow grid style on iPad.
‣ Added support for 1 & 2 columns for columned list style on iPad.

MISCELLANEOUS
‣ Added support for showing Audio Quality badges on the Albums screen.
‣ Added a setting in Search settings to make the local search bar persistent.
‣ Recent section on Add to Playlist screen now shows all recently modified playlists from the last 7 days.
‣ New Advanced Setting ‘Show Download Status on Tracks’.

• Added a new playlist group type, ‘Replay’.
‣ You can also use the new playlist type as a filter using Smart Rules.

‣ Setting to choose default action for ‘Go to Artist’ action, Go to Library Artist, Go to Apple Music Artist, or Always Ask.
‣ Setting to show ‘Add to Library’ action for songs, albums, or playlists on the action sheet.

• Now Playing media has a new background highlight style support for list styles.
‣ This is in addition to the bold text style that has existed so far.
‣ You can toggle each style on/off from Super Advanced settings.

• Fixes and improvements.

There are many more changes throughout the app that we couldn’t mention in this change log, but if you can discover them we’d love for you to show them off on our Subreddit, Discord, or Twitter.

Happy Listening!
7.1 2022-06-26
• Swipe Actions on list rows.
‣ Swipe from right-to-left on list rows to add to play next/last in the queue.

• New Apple Music Sections
‣ Recently Played Songs with data coming from Apple Music Web APIs.
‣ City Charts.
‣ Genres.
‣ Radio Station Genres.
‣ Live Radio Stations.
‣ Personal Radio Stations.

• New Metadata for Collections (Albums, Artists, and more).
‣ Last Played (Less Recent)
‣ Last Played (Recent) (formerly Last Played) metadata chooses the most recently played date from a collection's tracks, however, the new Last Played (Less Recent) selects the least recently played date.
‣ One of the use cases for this metadata is to let you create a section of albums that you want to listen to but haven't yet. So, you can add the "Last Played (Less Recent) is empty" rule, and the album will stay on the list as long as all of the album's songs haven't been played.

• Super Advanced Settings: A new settings section in Advanced Settings.
‣ When we have as many settings as there are in Marvis, it gets difficult to manage them, and name them in a way that they're concise and self-explanatory. But it's always a challenging task to correctly group settings and give them a name. Having too many settings on a single page also get overwhelming, and that's why when some of you request a setting, we don't add those to the main settings because we feel it only caters to a very small audience and will end up overwhelming others.
‣ This is why we've added Super Advanced Settings, where the settings won't necessarily cater to everyone, won't require us to worry about naming them, and won't need users to revisit too often.
‣ One of the first new settings there is "Navigation Bar Large Titles" which lets you disable large navigation bar titles.
‣ In the future, we'll add more settings to this page.

• Redesigned Add/Manage buttons.
‣ Also added keyboard shortcuts to open the add/manage pages.

• Bug Fixes and improvements.
7.0.1 2022-05-26
We’re delighted to see you all enjoy the latest update of Marvis.

Here’s what’s changed in this version,

In the previous update, we added support for opening music URLs in Marvis, and one way to do so was to copy the URL and simply open Marvis, Marvis monitored your clipboard for URLs and automatically opened the music resource in the app. But before reading the clipboard Marvis can’t tell if it is a music URL or not, and if Marvis read the URL iOS would show the clipboard privacy notification which is a great way to prevent apps from spying on your clipboard, but in the case of Marvis even though it isn't meant to spy on your clipboard, some users might have thought differently, especially those who aren’t aware of the new feature or don’t have any use for it.

• In this update, we’ve made monitoring clipboard for URLs optional and disabled by default. If you want to automatically open copied URLs in Marvis you can enable it from Marvis Settings > Advanced > Monitor Clipboard for URLs.

• Added support for Bit Rate as displayed metadata, smart rule filter, and sort option for songs and albums.

• Relocated the song popularity stars when opening an album page.

• Some fixes and improvements.

To read what's new in v7.0 check out the version history on the App Store.
7.0 2022-05-20

• Added support for sections like Related Albums, Other Versions, and Featured On on the albums page.
‣ Can be disabled for library albums from Marvis Settings > Apple Music.

• Added support for new section types on the Apple Music Artist page.

• Last.fm+ Text Replacement
‣ With text replacement, you can replace several metadata in your songs before submitting your scrobbles.

• Added the ability to Skip to the Next/Previous album in the queue.
‣ Assign to a gesture or customize full-player elements to place the buttons on the player screen.

• Added a URL Scheme to open a music URL in Marvis.
‣ In addition to Apple Music URLs, Marvis also supports Spotify, Tidal, Prime Music, and many other services.
‣ You can even copy a URL to the clipboard and open Marvis, and it will open the resource automatically.
‣ Also added action for share extensions in other apps to open a music URL in Marvis.

• Added a URL Scheme to open sections in Marvis.

• Learn all the URL Schemes that Marvis supports from Marvis Settings > Tips & Tricks.

• Added Playlist Name, Description & Type as filters for media types like songs, albums, artists, and more.

• Added "Playlist Order" as a sort option for albums, artists, etc. grouping inside of playlists.

• You can now search for home sections in the global search.

• Added support for the 'Skip to Previous' button in the mini-player.

• You can now tap the disc groupings inside an album for playback actions for the selected disc.
‣ Similarly, in the case of classical music listeners, this helps you tap on the work groups for playback actions.

• In addition to the now-playing track highlighted in bold letters, the now-playing album, artist, and genre are highlighted in bold as well.

• Added a setting to disable the "Add to Library" button that shows next to non-library tracks.

• Added keyboard shortcut to scroll to the top or bottom of the screen.

• Added "Beats Studio Buds" and "Beats Fit Pro" icons for the AirPlay button.

It has been 3 years since Marvis Pro first launched on the App Store. It's been a wonderful journey, from developing the app to communicating with users, we have built such a great community of people who not only are music enthusiasts but also have a specific way of navigating their music that only Marvis can fulfill. We're glad to have been able to build Marvis and bring it to you all, and we're grateful for the support we've received.

Fixed a crash that occurred on tapping the album inside of artists with only one album in the library.

Some of you might have experienced that a few Apple Music-based sections like Hot Tracks, New Releases, and Coming Soon weren’t loading in the app for the past few days. This is because Apple silently ended support for those RSS feeds, we tried to look for ways to see if there’s an alternate way to fetch this data from Apple but since removing those feeds, Apple hasn’t really added any other way to fetch this data. This is why this update drops support for those sections in Marvis. We hope to someday be back with more sections but until then this is how it needs to be.

Miscellaneous fixes and improvements.
6.7 2021-09-21
We’re excited for the launch of iOS 15 and we’ve made optimizations to make Marvis run better on iOS & iPadOS 15 as well as upcoming Apple devices like iPhone 13 lineup & iPad mini.

• Added support for extra-large widget size that’s now available in iPadOS 15.

• Bug fixes and improvements.

• Background Images for Widgets.
‣ You can now choose your own background image for Widgets, and make them even more personal. The possibilities are endless.
‣ With the right trick, you can even make the widget background appear transparent. Tip in Marvis Settings > Widgets on how to achieve this.
‣ This was one of the most requested features for Marvis after the introduction of Widgets. We're happy to have implemented it before Christmas.

• Added support for Keyboard Shortcuts.
‣ Useful when connecting to a hardware keyboard to your iPhone and iPad.
‣ On your iPad, you can hold the command key on your keyboard to view a list of supported shortcuts.

• Added support for the AirPods Max icon for the AirPlay button.
‣ To make sure that you see the correct icon, please have the text 'AirPods Max' in the name.

• Added the ability to sort playlists by their description text.
‣ You can find this sorting under Smart Rules > Add Sort Rule.
‣ This is useful in cases where you'd like to have a custom sorting for your playlists but do not want to change the playlist's name.
‣ You can edit the description for the playlists that you've created on your own from the stock Music.app.

• Bug fixes and improvements.

We hope you enjoy the new Widget Background customization. We’d love to see your widget setup, so tweet it and mention us @marvis_music. Your setup could inspire other users as well.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope the upcoming year brings us all joy and peace.

‣ Those metadata were already available when sorting but were missing when filtering.
‣ Thanks, Brian for pointing it out.

• Removed Curators and Activities section preset.
‣ Sadly Apple Music APIs have stopped providing the list of Curators and Activities, so we had to remove this. We did report to them in case this wasn’t intentional but haven’t heard from them yet. If they fix it in the future we’ll make sure to re-enable the section presets.
‣ If you had already added these sections you’ll need to remove them manually.
‣ Tip: You can still manually add the Apple Music Search section with Curator/Activity type and add your own search terms that match curator/activity names.

• Added Apple Curators section preset.
‣ We hope this will compensate for the lack of Curators section. We understand it’s not the same but it should hopefully be useful.

Happy Scrobbling!
6.1 2020-10-01
We’re so delighted to get such a positive response for Marvis' Home Screen Widgets. As promised we are back with another update and there’s certainly more in works.

■ Home Screen Widgets
• Grid style support for section Widget.
• Greyscale Artwork option for now-playing Widget.
‣ For those of you who are enjoying customizing their Home Screen and want a greyscale theme even for your artwork.

■ Added another customizable element for full-player.
• Bottom Center (Defaults to Volume)
‣ You can replace the Volume view with an always visible Rating view or simply hide the Volume view if that's what you prefer.

■ Singles & EPs as section preset for the Apple Music Artist page.
• While it was already possible to customize the Artist page using Smart Rules to have a separate Singles & EPs section, it wasn’t obvious for a lot of users, so we decided to implement presets to help you out.
• Add the new preset sections using the ‘Add’ button at the bottom of the Apple Music Artist page.

■ Full-screen songs sections on the iPad are now laid out in a 2 column list style to better use the screen real estate.

■ FIXED: Crash when adding a For You section on iPad.
■ FIXED: Unable to Load error when tapping an Album in Apple Music based Section from the Section Widget.
■ More improvements and fixes.

■ Important
• To better manage our codebase and bring you features that require some newer APIs that are only available in newer versions of iOS, we’ve decided to drop support for iOS 11 in an upcoming release.
‣ iOS 12 may still be supported for a few more versions.

Happy Listening!
6.0.2 2020-09-26
■ FIXED: The like buttons on Now Playing that were untappable in the recent update.
■ FIXED: The AirPlay button that used to turn blue even for non-wireless sources like Car-USB.
■ FIXED: Pull to refresh on the Home feed didn’t re-shuffle sections with shuffled sorting.

■ NEW STUFF
• Search URL Scheme.
‣ marvispro://search?term={searchTerm}&source={library/applemusic}
‣ The parameter ’source' is optional.

• View Last.fm Profile as a gesture action for Navigation Bar, Mini-Player, and Shake Gestures.
‣ Setup from Marvis Settings > Gestures.

■ More refinements and improvements.
6.0.1 2020-09-22
• Fixes the issue where Now Playing Widget wouldn't show your custom artwork.

• Added 'Hide Large Shuffle/Repeat Buttons' toggle.
5.3.1 2020-06-25
• Added support for Russian. Thank you, Ariana, for helping with the translation.

• Added the ability to show like button on library tracks.
‣ Setting can found under advanced settings.

• Fixes.
5.3 2020-05-26
• Copy/Paste Rules.
‣ The rules can only be copied between the same media types. For example, Library Songs to Library Songs, and Library Albums to Library Albums.
‣ Note: Library Songs section is not the same as Apple Music Songs sections, as the availability of supported rules differs between the library and non-library versions of the same media type.

• Copy/Paste View Options.
‣ Similar to Rules, pasting is only supported between the same media types.
‣ Scroll down to the bottom of the view options page to find 'Copy Settings' Option.

• Media Playback Buttons for sections.
‣ The long tap actions for section title now includes media playback controls like Play, Shuffle, Play Next/Last.

• Included in Playlists
‣ View the list of playlists a selected item is included in.
‣ Accessible via Details page for Songs/Albums/Artists etc.
‣ Also available as a grouping type for Artists/Genres etc and can be added as a section to Artist/Genre Home.

• Header View support for Artists & Playlists.
‣ Disabled by default, use the setting 'Show Header' found under view options for a screen to view a header on top of a playlist/artist.
‣ Unlike artists, playlist settings are unique to each playlist and toggling 'Show Header' would only change it for a particular playlist, but you may globally enable headers for all playlists using 'Show Playlist Headers' setting found under Advanced Settings, and override the setting on a per-playlist basis using 'Show Header' if needed.

• Bug fixes and improvements.

Marvis recently completed 5 years on the App Store, and some of you might not know this but Marvis Pro is a successor to the Marvis Music Player which was launched 5 years ago on the 14th of May, 2015. We're grateful to everyone who supported us through this journey.

Thank you, all.

• Fixes and improvements.
5.1.2 2020-03-28
Bug fixes and improvements related to some iOS 13.4 introduced issues.

We would like to report that iOS 13.4 release has introduced a few issues for 3rd party music players, while most of those aren't too severe and are fixable by using some workarounds, it's still generally not as reliable as it used to be. While most users wouldn't notice much of a difference, we would just like to mention one particular bug in 13.4 that might affect you, and that is long delays in starting playback when playing a long list of items. Sadly, we couldn't find any workaround for this and this issue is not only present in Marvis but even in Shortcuts.app that ships with iOS. So, we hope that you understand the situation. If you need to play longer queues, you may simply use Marvis' Smart Rules limit feature to limit the number of items in a list first. Also, the definition of long queues may differ from device to device but mostly it relates to queues with more than 5000 items for the oldest devices. We believe Apple would be fixing this in an upcoming iOS release, but looking at the current situation it may take some time for the update to arrive. We'd really appreciate your patience.

We would wish for your safety and good health. We really hope that we can get the situation in control soon, for that everyone needs to cooperate and listen to what experts are saying.

Take care and be safe. Peace!
5.1.1 2020-03-24
• Updated an icon with new gradient colors.

• Added URL scheme for shuffling all items, marvispro://shuffle.
‣ Use marvispro:// to simply open Marvis.

• Fixes and stability improvements.

We recently launched v5.1, check out the version history to view what was included in that version.

Take care of yourself, stay safe.
5.1 2020-03-19
We're saddened to face the times we're currently in, it's really critical that we take care of ourselves for the sake of everyone. We hope that these times shall pass too and we'll see a brighter world ahead.

With this update, we've focused on some of the popular user requests. Here's what's new:

• 4 new icons with the trendy Neumorphic design.
‣ We hope you like these new icons.
‣ Updated an older icon with a new gradient, we're positive you'll like this one as well.

• Dedicated Play & Shuffle Buttons.
‣ This has to be the most requested feature since Marvis was launched, we know we took some time but it's finally here.
‣ Because we prefer cleaner interfaces, as so do a lot of our users, this setting is disabled by default.
‣ Enable it from Marvis Settings > Advanced > Show Dedicated Play/Shuffle Buttons.

• Manage Shuffle State.
‣ This has also been requested in some form by many users who tend to forget to disable shuffle mode manually after shuffling an album or a playlist.
‣ To understand how this setting works please check it our from Marvis Settings > Player > Manage Shuffle > Help.
‣ The default behavior for this setting is exactly like how Marvis used to work previously, but there are 3 more options to choose from according to your needs.

• Rename Top Level Home.
‣ Use the manage button at the bottom of the Home page to rename the title of the top-level Home.
‣ In case you don't know this already, you may rename any section by Long-Tapping the header and clicking Rename.

• RegEx matching operation for textual Smart Filters.
‣ If you're a geek or a software engineer, you may know what RegEx is and how powerful it can be for matching texts.
‣ If you don't already know what RegEx is you may find great resources online to learn it. It's quite simple to learn the basics and perform some really powerful matching operations.

• Album Year Metadata option for Displayed Metadata, Smart Filter & Sort.
‣ For library song based sections.

• RSS Source
‣ This is for sections with RSS based sources, which are Hot Tracks, New Releases & Coming Soon.
‣ If you might have experienced any issues with these sections, it's probably because the data from these sources are buggy at times from Apple's RSS feeds. This is usually the case for some regions from time to time.
‣ Apple does have 2 different sources for these section types, iTunes & Apple Music. Marvis defaults to iTunes Music as the source as it's known to be more reliable than the Apple Music source. But in case you face any issues you may try changing the source to Apple Music before switching regions.
‣ The setting can be found under per-section settings for the RSS based sections only.

• Bug fixes and improvements.

Stay healthy, stay safe!
5.0.6 2020-02-22

• Fixed a crash that occurred for an empty library state.

• Fixed the mismatch of like status for non-library items when the like status is updated from the now-playing screen.

Marvis Pro just finished its first year in the App Store on February 14. It's been an exciting journey and I thank you all for the support and being there for me.

Previous update:

• For You in Sidebar.
‣ Apple Music subscribers can now put a For You tab in Sidebar.

• Like/Dislike for local library users.
‣ Previously exclusive to Apple Music subscribers only.

• Added 'Share' in gesture actions for 'Now Playing'.
• Added 'Activate Search' in gesture actions for 'Mini Player'.

• Updated how 'Refresh on Track Change' setting works under the hood.
‣ Previously it only refreshed when the now playing item changed.
‣ Now, it also refreshes when the rating or like-status of an item changes.

• Last.fm Bio and Wiki now fallback to showing in English if it's not available in your local language.

• Bug Fixes and improvements.

5.0.1 2019-12-14
Last.fm users, we have some news for you that we wish weren't true.

Some of you might have noticed recently that Marvis could no longer scrobble non-library tracks for you. It's a shame to see that happen and we're truly sorry about that, but sadly it's not really in our control. Something has changed in recent iOS versions that led to recently played non-library tracks from not caching reliably in iOS' music library database.

We don't know if this was intended by Apple engineers or is it a bug, but only time will tell. We hope this gets rollbacked in future versions of iOS, but until then Marvis wouldn't be able to scrobble non-library tracks for you.

We do have a tip for you though, the songs that are part of a playlist but not library can still be scrobbled, so just in case you'd not like to add songs to the library, you can add them to a playlist and play them. To prevent playlist songs from being automatically added to the library head over to Settings.app > Music > Add Playlist Songs, and disable it.

We hope this tip is helpful and we're sorry again, but we hope you understand.

As usual, this update also brings some bug fixes and improvements.
5.0 2019-11-20
The moment so many of you've been waiting for has now arrived.

• Marvis now supports the iPad natively.
‣ We've really worked hard on this and we're sorry for the delays but it's finally here and we hope you enjoy it.
‣ We have some more plans for the future of Marvis on the iPad, one of those plans is multi-window support, we know it'd bring some great browsing possibilities and we're really excited to work on it.

• Powerbeats Pro Glyph.
‣ We know you enjoyed the glyphs for the AirPods and some of you requested that we add a glyph for Powerbeats Pro as well, so here it is.
‣ Make sure that your device name includes the name 'Powerbeats Pro' to be able to view the glyph on Marvis' NowPlaying screen.

• And like always there are many bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations.

Working on Marvis Pro has been a great journey for me, and I've met so many new people on the way. Since Thanksgiving is coming soon I'd really like to use the opportunity to let you all know that I'm thankful for all your support and for how patient and understanding you've been.

As many of you know already we really love talking to our users, hearing their feedback and helping them by answering their questions on Reddit, Email, Twitter or Discord. So, in case you haven't already contacted us for something you have in your mind, we'd love if you could share it with us. We're really active on all platforms you can contact us on.

We know a lot of you who requested the iPad update also said that you're willing to pay extra for it but we didn't feel it was right to force all users into paying. So, we'd just like to thank you again for waiting so patiently and helping us test the iPad betas. If you choose you could help us by contributing any amount you like from Marvis Settings > Tip Jar and support us for all the hard work that went into building this update and Marvis in general, but it's really optional though. You could also help us by leaving a rating or review on the App Store, it'd mean a lot.

Happy listening!
4.1.3 2019-10-31
Enjoying your new AirPods Pro? We are as well. This update includes AirPods Pro glyph.

To be able to view the AirPods glyph in Marvis, please make sure that the name of your AirPods contains the words AirPods and Pro (if they’re Pro).

This update also makes it easier to tell if you’re connected to an external output by changing the AirPlay route icon to blue color.

Have fun listening to your new AirPods. Happy Halloween!
4.1.2 2019-10-24
A maintenance update with a lot of fixes and a few features.

Features:
• Ability to Export Settings to your desired location, which can later be imported to any other device or in case you need to reinstall Marvis for some reason.
‣ Export from Settings > Advanced > Export Settings

• In case there's any issue related to Apple Music login, a new row is added to settings to reconnect Apple Music.

• Due to high demand, re-enabled the setting 'Horizontal Flow Invoke From' in Settings > Gestures.
‣ It's a setting that toggles Sidebar invoke gesture between Anywhere and Edge only. In addition, it toggles the gesture to go to the previous screen between Edge and Anywhere.

And as always a lot of bugs squashed.

May you enjoy some spooky music this Halloween, have a good one.
4.1.1 2019-09-19
We launched v4.1 very recently optimizing Marvis for iOS 13, but a bug seeped through ;)

This update fixes the bug where navigation bar would have a dark background during light theme in some cases.
4.1 2019-09-18
Excited about the launch of iOS 13? We are too.

We’ve prepared this update to optimize Marvis for iOS 13. But that’s not all there’s more. So let’s begin.

• Match System Theme (iOS 13 Only)
‣ Use the ‘Match iOS’ Switch Theme Mode to let Marvis follow iOS’ Theme.

• Recent Searches
‣ Stores up to 50 recent terms.

• Love/Dislike Albums & Playlists (Apple Music Subscribers only)

• Prevent Auto-Lock Options
‣ Only When Charging.
‣ Only if Full-Player is Open.

• Hide Playback Controls
‣ For the ultra minimalists out there, you can hide the Play & Skip Buttons on the Now-Playing View using this setting.

• New Smart Rule Filters
‣ Media Type: Music & Music Videos.
‣ Is Album Complete: To filter between complete & incomplete albums.
‣ Total Rating: Instead of averaging the rating for a collection, this simply sums it.

• Hide Empty Sections.
‣ Disabled by default for most Homes to prevent users from believing that their sections have disappeared.
‣ Access the setting from ‘Manage’ button of any Home feed.

• True Black Theme
‣ While this has been available for some time, the ability to enable this isn’t obvious.
‣ This update improves support for True Black Theme.
‣ You can enable this separately for Main Screen and Full-Player by setting the Background to ‘None’.

• A lot of bug fixes & improvements.

If you’re enjoying Marvis we’d be grateful if you could write a review on the App Store or help spread the word.

Thanks for the support.
4.0.1 2019-07-05
We're so delighted to receive such a great response for 'Smart Rules' and really appreciate your support.

This update squashes a few bugs and improves translations.

Happy Listening!
4.0 2019-07-01
We are back with a big release dedicated to the power users.

SMART RULES
• Filter, Sort & Limit.
• In simpler words, smart rules are similar to what you might have already used in iTunes to set up Smart Playlists.
• Smart rules can do, even more, it not only allows filtering of Songs, but it can be applied to other media kinds too, list of Albums/Artists/Playlists, etc.
• You can set up smart rules for each section uniquely.
• Apart from a few obvious ways to set up smart rules like Most Played, Recently played, Top Rated, etc. there are some less obvious ways you could use this feature.
‣ Have a section that lists only the items you wish to include by setting up rules like, ‘Artist’ is ‘Bastille’ OR ‘Kodaline’ OR ‘Adele’…
‣ To filter out Singles/EPs from list of Albums like, ‘Title’ does not end with ‘- Single’ AND ‘- EP’
‣ You can combine sorting rules to do a multi-sort where it makes sense, like Albums Sorted by Year & Artist. Note: Please make sure to set up the order of rules correctly or the sorting won’t make sense.

• There’s one additional feature which allows something that traditional Smart Playlists don’t.
‣ As you might know you can match ‘Any/All’ rules, but you cannot have a combination of both.
‣ Marvis offers something called ‘Rule Group’ that allows you to have a different match operation(Any/All).
‣ So, this allows something like: [‘Play Count’ is ‘0’ AND (‘Genre’ is ‘Alternative’ OR ‘Pop’)]

• We could keep explaining this feature, but it’s best to try and use it yourself. It’s a really powerful tool that we’re really excited to see how you all use.

HOME ‣ PORTALS
• A Portal is basically a link to the full-screen section, but that’s a bit vague, right? Here’s what you can do with it…
‣ Add a portal to a new home within a home. It’s possible to have multiple levels of sub-homes. This is especially useful if you create a lot of sections. You can use Homes to group similar kind of sections together.
‣ You could also collapse a section to hide the horizontally scrollable preview. A collapsed section offers just a link to the full-screen section.

• Portals can be really useful for saving a lot of extra processing and network usage from the sections you don’t use frequently.

GESTURES
• Customize Actions for,
‣ Shake Device
‣ Navigation Bar (Tap, Double-Tap, Long-Tap, etc.)
‣ Full-Player Artwork (Tap, Double-Tap, Long-Tap, etc.)

LOCAL SEARCH
• Ever wish to search for songs within a playlist or a particular section? Local search allows that.
• This feature is disabled by default to prevent new users from getting confused.
• Enable from Settings > Search > Local Search.

LANGUAGES
• 한국어 (Korean), Thanks to Si-Woo Lee.
• Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese), Thanks to Long Thinh.

CRITICAL FIX
• You might have observed that the ‘For You’ sections stopped loading recently as Apple made changes to the format of the API data. This time the change was big and as a result, we can no longer support reordering of ‘For You’ sections, nor allow layout customizations for them. We’re sorry about that. For You sections will now be in the order Apple sends those sections in.
• On the positive side, these sections should automatically support any changes that Apple makes to ‘For You’ feed in the future.
• You’ll need to add a new ‘For You’ section from Add Section > Apple Music > For You.
• The old ‘For You’ sections will not work and shall be removed.

• Due to this issue, the update was pushed earlier and some languages will have missing translations. We’ll push another update with the translations soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As always, there are more things to discover. We really hope you enjoy this update.
3.3.1 2019-06-03
• Added 4 neon app icons in honor of the developers conference. We're really excited about the event.

• New Language: Italiano (Italian)
‣ Thanks to Pierpaolo & Francesco.

• And of course, the fixes.

ICYMI: Connect with us on Discord, we recently created a new Discord server, and have provided an invitation to join inside Marvis Settings > About. It has been really nice to communicate with so many people, not just about Marvis but other topics as well.

If you've been enjoying Marvis and would like to support it, we would really appreciate if you could spread the word or leave a rating/review in the App Store.
3.3 2019-05-30
Marvis has been traveling lately, learning new languages.

• Deutsch (German), Thanks to Michel & Marcus.
• Español (Spanish), Thanks to Adrián & Juan.
• Français (French), Thanks to Laurent & Martin.
• 日本語 (Japanese), Thanks to Mix.
• Nederlands (Dutch), Thanks to Dimitry & Stephan.
• Português - Brasil (Portuguese - Brazil), Thanks to Lucas & Jason.
• 中文 - 简体 (Chinese - Simplified), Thanks to Edward & Nanoha.
• 中文 - 繁體 (Chinese - Traditional), Thanks to Edward.

We’re truly grateful to the translators who worked so hard to help translate Marvis. We can’t be thankful enough for such an amazing work you did, simply out of pure love for Marvis. You’ve all been so patient with me when I used to ask so many questions ;) I hope I didn’t annoy too much :p

Italians, please don’t worry Italian will be added soon as well.

• Marvis defaults to using system language, but you can also change the language from Marvis Settings > Advanced.

So, what’s more in this update?

• 2 New Icon colors, replacing older yellow ones.
‣ If you were using the Yellow Icons, let me know and I'll try to bring them back in a future update.

• New Home Section, Curators
‣ There are a lot of curators on Apple Music with some great curated playlists, really worth checking out.

• Radio Stations now support Grid Layout.

• Background Image setting for Mini-Player, separate from Full-Player.

• Custom Genre Images
‣ Similar to custom Artist/Composer Images.
‣ Choose Image from Genre Details.

• Ability to put Settings tab in Sidebar.

• Marvis now remembers the tracks that have been scrobbled to Last.fm.
‣ Due to this, even if you delete a recently played track on Last.fm, Marvis won't see it as missing and won't try to scrobble it again.
‣ This is useful for those of you who edit incorrectly matched tracks or don't want a particular track to be visible on the recently played list.

• Fixes and Improvements.

• Removed the experimental setting 'Stop Music on Termination'.
‣ To replicate the behavior, you can set Marvis as the 'Player App'.

• Removed the ability to change 'Player App' for users who're running iOS 12.0-12.1.4.
‣ This is because the Application player type has quite a few issues for users running those versions.
‣ We tried to clearly mention the known issues in the 'Important' notes but many people didn't seem to read and blamed us for the bugs we couldn't fix.
‣ Most of those issues are not present in iOS 12.2 and above, but that doesn't mean we're saying there are no issues in Application player type, there are very few issues left and Apple seems to be fixing those with newer iOS updates.
‣ Please carefully read the 'Important' notes before changing the 'Player App'.

• Connect with us on Discord.
‣ We’ve recently created a new Discord server, and have provided an invitation to join inside Marvis Settings > About. We’d love to see you there, it’s been really fun to communicate with so many users, not just about Marvis but more topics as well.
‣ To those who aren’t aware of Discord, it’s generally a chatting app, focused on allowing chats for groups of people.
‣ You can also submit translation suggestions to us on Discord in the channel dedicated to your language.

Thanks, everyone for the support. Stay tuned for more awesome updates.
3.2 2019-05-14
We all love updates with big features, don’t we? But sometimes even small features could very well be huge for many users. This update is full of such features and customizations.

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s begin,

APP ICONS
• 4 new icons with a new, very simple glyph.
• Replaced 2 icons with newer Blue/Green gradient icons.

PLAYER
• Application Player
‣ Added the ability to choose Marvis as the player app.
‣ Defaults to Stock Music.app, can be changed via Settings > Player.
‣ Application player allows queue editing.
‣ Lock-Screen and Control Centre widgets open Marvis when clicked.
‣ All this sounds good, but the application player may still be not the right choice for all of you.
‣ Please carefully read the differences and important notes before changing the player app.
‣ If you’re on iOS 12.1.x, you’ll face more issues with application player, updating to the latest version of iOS may fix most.
‣ Overall, the system player is much more reliable, but for many application player also works pretty well. Though, if you face any issues, you can always rollback.

• Mini-Player Subtitle Customizations.
‣ Hidden, Artist Name, Artist + Album Name, Output Device Name, etc.

• Full-Player Album Title Display Mode.
‣ Hidden, Inline with Artist Name, Separate Line.

HOME
• Section Layout Settings: Added Rows Customization.
‣ In addition to columns, you can now choose the maximum number of visible rows for each section.

• New Section: Daily Top 100.

QUEUE
• Save Queue to Playlist.
• View preceding songs in Queue.
• Queue details like time left and tracks count.

GESTURES
• 3D Touch
‣ In addition to Long-Tap, you can now 3D Touch items to invoke actions faster.
‣ Supports Continuous Flow gesture to switch selection right after invoking the actions menu without having to lift finger in between.
‣ Long-Tap supports Continuous Flow as well.
‣ Note: If Drag & Drop is enabled, 3D Touch must be invoked before item lift animation begins, as after the item is lifted, there’s gesture conflict.

• Mini-Player
‣ Choose custom actions for Tap, 3D Touch, Long-Tap, Double-Tap.

• Full-Player
‣ Added 3D Touch Title gesture.
‣ Added Double-Tap gesture for Next/Previous buttons to skip intervals (10s, 30s, etc.).

• Sidebar Flow Customizations
‣ Ability to change Vertical Flow direction to Natural (Up = Down, Down = Up).
‣ Ability to Invoke Horizontal Flow from the edge only instead of anywhere. This is helpful for those who cannot get used to invoke gesture and accidentally invoke it often. Switching to edge invoke mode will enable going to the previous screen from anywhere instead of the left edge.

MORE
• Song details page now shows Last.fm listeners and scrobbles data.
• Choose add button action: Add to Library, Add to Playlist or Always Ask.
• And as always, there are a few surprise features, we hope you could discover on your own.

• Fixes, optimization & layout improvements.

Have fun using Marvis and stay tuned for more.
3.1.1 2019-05-04
As much as we love to add new features, we feel sad when a few bugs come along. Thankfully, those were quickly reported to us and we fixed them as soon as we could.

Let's jump in,

FEATURES
• Create New Playlist.
‣ Via 'New Playlist' button after clicking on ‘Add to Playlist’ action.

• Rename Home Sections.
‣ Long-Tap Section Heading > Actions > Rename.
‣ With so many sections you could add to Home, having a custom name for some could help you identify them better.
‣ For Non-English users, until we work on adding your language to Marvis, this offers a nice way to rename the titles to your language.

FIXES
• New Releases and Hot Tracks not loading in China due to an issue with RSS feeds. (Thanks, Lance)
• Recently Added Playlists not showing playlists inside folders. (Thanks, Daniel)
• Enqueue issue when playing using 'Counts Button' for some sections. (Thanks, Andy).
• A few more tiny little things.

We hope you understand that being an individual developer it gets a little hard for me to personally respond to everyone and also focus on Marvis development. Hence, I've made a Reddit community (r/MarvisApp) to publicly discuss Marvis. If anyone would like to help me they can be active there and respond to others' posts.

Hope to see our community grow and interact with each other, it could lead to some great ideas and discussions.

ICYMI, v3.1 was launched very recently, please check out the version history for details.

Stay tuned for more.

Enjoying the cool new update? We’re back with another huge one.

Before we begin,
We just launched v3.0 last week and have been really busy welcoming a lot of new users, thanks to all the amazing blogs that wrote about Marvis.

This release was originally going to take a little more work and we intended to add a few more features but the release was pushed ahead due to a critical reason.

To display Artist Images in Marvis, we were relying on Last.fm’s services to fetch and store images. Very recently, Last.fm decided to discontinue providing those images to 3rd Party Apps, to reduce loads on their servers for providing better services. We completely understand and respect their decision and have taken the necessary steps as fast as we could.

A huge thanks to Marcus for reporting this to us very quickly, we truly can’t be grateful enough.

What’s changing due to this:
• We had to remove Artist Image fetching via Last.fm for Library and Apple Music.
‣ We’ve enabled viewing Artist Images for Library Artists without the ability to fetch missing images.
‣ If needed, you could choose your own Image by clicking ‘View Details’ then tapping •••.

• We will continue to find alternate ways to fetch Artist Images.
• After finding this news, we quickly wrapped up this update in less than 10 hours.
• We hope you understand and we’d really appreciate your support. Thank you, all.

Now let’s get to the fun part,

APP ICONS
• Added 2 New Icon Glyph Designs with 8 Icon options.
• We understand that one design cannot suffice everyone’s choices.

Apple Music
• Radio Stations: Search & Browse
‣ Add Top Radio Stations Section to Home.
‣ Recently Played now also supports Radio Stations.

• Home Section: Activities & Moods

Note: Please read the Notes at the bottom of ‘Add Section’ View for some additional details.

PLAYLISTS
• Add to Playlist.
‣ Prevents Song Duplication.
‣ Sorry, ‘Create Playlist’ couldn’t be finished in time for this release. Will be adding soon.

• Group Playlists by Type.
‣ Types: Folders, Apple Music, Shared, Smart, Genius, User.
‣ Enabled by default. Can be disabled.

GESTURES
• Check out ‘Settings > Gestures’ to customize.
‣ NowPlaying Gestures: Swipe Left/Right, Single/Double/Long Tap Title.
‣ Possible Actions: Skip/Previous, Go to Album, View Details, Toggle Rating View, etc.

• More gestures will be added in future updates. If you have any cool gestures to recommend please let us know.

MORE
• We tried supporting Love/Dislike for complete Albums/Playlists but figured out Albums are not supported by Apple Music’s Web APIs, and Playlists are currently not working reliably, we’ve reported the issue to Apple teams and will enable the feature once it’s fixed. A fair warning, it’s less likely that they add support for loving library Albums on our request, so you will need to use Music.app or iTunes to love complete Albums.

• UI Tweaks, Search Improvements, miscellaneous fixes, and optimization.

Thank you, everyone, for all the support. We couldn’t be more excited about the future of Marvis and have many more ambitious plans for future updates.

NEXT UP
• Finishing 3.1’s remaining features & supporting more languages.
• And a lot more after that.
• But to those of you hoping for iPad support, it's definitely planned it, it’d take a bit longer because we don’t want a blown-up iPhone app, we have better plans, please allow us the time we need to make a stellar app for iPad as well.

Localization: We currently have volunteers for,
Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, German, Portuguese, French, Spanish & Dutch.

We would be truly grateful if you’d like to help us localize Marvis to your language.

If you’d like to volunteer, please contact us via Settings or Twitter @marvis_music.
Even though we do have volunteers for the above-mentioned languages if you'd like we could use your help in the future.
3.0 2019-04-25
The update you've all been waiting for is finally here. We're really excited about this one.

Let's dive in,

Apple Music
• Search.
‣ Quickly switch between Library & Apple Music using an easily accessible toggle on the Search screen.

• Browse Top Charts, Hot Tracks, New Releases & Coming Soon not only for your storefront but also for more than 100 countries & regions.

• For You, curated for your taste. (Apple Music subscribers only)
‣ Contains the recommendations based on your listening history & Loved Media.

• Add the Browse & For You sections to your Home Feed and customize them the way you like.

• Even if you’re not an Apple Music subscriber, you can still use Search & Browse to view the complete Apple Music catalog.
‣ In addition to that, you can even play a 30s preview for all songs available on Apple Music similar to iTunes App.
‣ It’s a really nice way to discover new Music.

SHARE
• Share Songs, Albums, Artists & Playlists with an Apple Music Link.
‣ User created Playlists that are public or have been shared at least once via Music.app can be shared via Marvis.

MORE
• Tracks inside of Classical Albums with Work & Movement Details are now grouped similar to Stock Music.app. (Thanks, Josh)

• If you’re inside of a collection (Artist/Genre/Playlist etc.) you can long tap the navigation bar to present actions for that collection.

• Last.fm scrobble improvements.
‣ ICYMI v2.1 added support for scrobbling tracks streamed via Apple Music.

• As always there are many fixes and a lot of improvements in this version as well.

This release was made better with the support from our amazing beta testers who helped test so patiently and gave us really nice feedback and reports. Thank you, Edward, Derek, Dave, Steve, Lucas, Dimitry, Martin & everyone else, you guys are truly awesome.

Thanks, everyone for supporting Marvis & patiently waiting for this update.

Before v3.0, Marvis was soft launched, we’re officially going live now and we’ll be putting the efforts on marketing the app. We'd really appreciate if you help spread the word around. The better Marvis does financially, the stronger we’ll become and can continue adding more features faster and improve further. We have so much planned already.

We’ll always keep working hard on adding new features, another update is coming very soon. Stay tuned and please let us know your feedback about this update via e-mail, review or Twitter @marvis_music.

Something new with some critical fixes.

• Extended Library Search
‣ Search results include Songs from Playlists that might not have been added to the Library.
‣ Enabled by default. Can be disabled from Settings > Advanced.

FIXES
• Fixed an issue related to Apple Music Session which would soon have affected users who had installed Marvis before v2.1.
• One user running iOS 11 was facing crashes every time app he/she used the app. The user never contacted us but we understand it must have been so inconvenient for them. If you're reading this, we're truly sorry, hope the crashes get fixed for you.
• More random crash fixes that were affecting a small number of users.

If you are facing any issues or have any questions, we really hope you contact us via Marvis Settings or on Twitter @marvis_music.

ICYMI, v2.1 was recently launched with some cool new features requested by many of you. Check out the version history for update notes.

A major new update is in works. Stay tuned.
2.1 2019-04-01
We’re so thrilled to know that many more of you have discovered Marvis and enjoying it. We love your compliments & feedback and are truly excited for the future of Marvis.

While we’re hard at work on implementing Apple Music support, this update is pushed so that you don’t miss out on the latest features and fixes while we take some more time to finish the next major update.

Here’s what’s new:

• HOME inside of Artist/Playlist/Genres etc.
‣ We know you’ve been enjoying Home Feed, so we’ve made Home available inside other screens as well.
‣ For example, Home sections inside of a Playlist will filter and show the items only for that playlist, so you can view Songs, Albums, Artists of the Playlist on the same screen without having to switch groupings.

• New Home Section: Loved.
‣ To view your Loved Songs, Albums and Playlists.

• Enqueue All Albums
‣ This is targeted for those who like to play all Albums by an Artist when selecting a Song from one of their Albums.
‣ But this feature is not limited to Albums inside of Artists, you can enable it for any screen that’s grouped into Albums.
‣ Can be toggled for each unique screen type by scrolling down the sort options.

• Last.fm
‣ Marvis now also Scrobbles the tracks that might not be added to your library.
‣ Aims to prevent duplicate Scrobbles if you use multiple apps to Scrobble your playback. (Thanks, Derek)

• Double-Tap Navigation Bar to quickly Switch Theme.
‣ Not supported if you have enabled auto switching theme based on Brightness.

• FIXED Average Rating Calculation for Albums/Artists etc. (Thanks, Derek)
• FIXED Background Image Setting not working in the recent update. (Thanks, Cole)
• Many more miscellaneous fixes.

As always, there’s more to this update than we've mentioned, we love giving surprises to our users, and really encourage you to discover new features while using the update.

Thanks for the support and keeping us energized to work harder on the updates. Stay tuned for more.
2.0 2019-03-21
We’ve reached our first major update. Lots of advanced new features and lots more to come. Stay tuned!

HOME
‣ A place that has everything that belongs to you, a place that you can personalize, and a place that you feel most comfortable at.
‣ Introducing Home, a customizable feed of multiple sections that can be personalized by the user based on Grouping, Sorting and Design.
‣ There’re some pre-defined types like Recently Played, Recently Added, Most Played, Top Rated.
‣ But you can always start fresh by choosing any of the Groupings (Songs, Albums, Artists, Playlists etc.) and customize its sort preference and layout styles.
‣ Home is a very powerful tool and we have many more plans for it.

SEARCH
• Lenient Search, a road to fuzzy. What does it mean?
‣ You can search for a term like “Taylor Love” or “Paradise Coldplay”, without a more lenient search no results would show up for such pair of terms that derive text from multiple different values such as song title, album title and artist name etc.
‣ A fully fuzzy search algorithm can even show results for incorrect spellings, but we’re not there yet.

• Year Search.
‣ This is probably even cooler than fuzzy, Thanks to a user who requested this feature (Thanks, Thor).
‣ You can search for a single year or a range of years and the search would list all albums and songs within them.
‣ Try searching for “2018”, “2010-2019” or “John 1970-1980”.

Apple Music
• Like and Dislike tracks in your iCloud Music Library or Apple Music Catalog.
‣ Local iTunes Library items are not supported unless they’re in iCloud Music Library.
‣ Skip Disliked Songs (previously, Skip Low Rated Songs) now supports skipping both disliked & 1-star songs.

• Add to Library Button for tracks that have not been added to iCloud Music Library.
‣ Can be found in Now-Playing View or in Playlists if you keep ‘Add Playlist Songs to Library’ turned off.

This is just the beginning of Apple Music features, more to come very soon.

EXPERIMENTAL
• Stop Music on Termination.
‣ A lot of you seem to expect that quitting Marvis should stop Music playback, it doesn’t happen because Marvis isn’t the app that’s playing Music, it’s stock Music.app that plays Music on behalf of Marvis.
‣ Yet for those who still want Marvis to stop playing Music on termination, we’ve added an experimental setting in Advanced Settings. It requires the app to be in the foreground when you quit it. If you experience issues with this feature please let us know.

MORE
• Dismissing Full-Screen Album View: Added a swipe left/right gesture to dismiss, helpful when you’re scrolled down to the bottom and want to dismiss without needing to scroll to top first. (Thanks, Dave)
• Added Haptic feedback for buttons. Haptic feedback is only available for devices that support it.
• Tweaked 4 App Icons.
• Last.fm Scrobble improvements.
• Ability to Hide Album Title from Now-Playing View. (Thanks, Stephan).
• Design improvements for Action Sheets.

There’s even more stuff in this update we’d have loved to brag about, but this log is already very long and we’d really encourage you to find things that are not listed here.

Hope you enjoy this update.

Marvis is actively programmed, designed & marketed by a single developer. We’d really appreciate if you consider leaving us a rating/review and spread the word about Marvis. It’d really take us a long way.

Like Thor, Dave & Stephan, we’ve gotten requests for many more features by many other users. Thank you all for the feedback. We've already implemented many of your requests and we’ll surely try to implement the rest of them as soon as we can, considering they’re feasible. Thanks for continued support and patience. If you haven’t contacted us but have a feature in mind you think could benefit others as well, contact us via Marvis Settings or you can also tweet to us @marvis_music.
1.2.1 2019-03-05
This update has a tiny version bump, yet includes significant features, fixes & improvements.

• Redesigned Play Actions Menu (Long tap an item to present).
‣ Songs: Rate directly from Action Menu, there's no need to open details to rate.
‣ We know light menu blinded some of you, so the new menu supports Dark Theme.

• AirPlay 2: Multi-Room Audio now supported.

• Support for 1 Column Grid.
‣ For those who liked pre-iOS 7 Music.app Landscape Cover Flow, we'll implement similar animation in an update.

• Cloud Toggle in Sidebar.
‣ Quickly Toggle between downloaded and Cloud music without needing to go inside settings.

• Share option now fetches an Apple Music / iTunes link for you to share.
‣ Available for Songs only. Album & Artist support in a future update.

• Improved Volume Bar's Swipe recognition.

There's much more that's fixed and updated behind the scenes, that many of you might not even notice.

More awesome updates on the way, stay tuned and please leave a rating if you've been enjoying Marvis, it gives us an adrenaline boost and helps us work harder, faster and better.

Thanks, everyone for the support.
