Don't you hate downloading an app but you can't really check it out until you register? We hate that too, and so we've extended a taste of the Mazu experience to those who haven't registered or logged in. Explore the Heart of Mazu challenges, discover our communities, check out the village, all without an account! You'll still need an account to comment, use the messenger, submit content, and all that fun stuff. Getting an account really unlocks the magic but now you can at least get a peak behind the veil before then ;)

Some big updates this week! We have raised the ol' safety walls higher by requiring each Mazu user to be part of a Family Membership before they can interact in Mazu. It requires a parent to manage the membership and you can learn more at https://mazufamily.com (or through the app).
We have plenty more safety and fun on the way to provide even more value within the Mazu ecosystem. Like what you ask? Well, you can now explore Mazu from your PC! That's right, we are live on the WWW! Some sharing features aren't fully working yet, so the app is still the best place to experience Mazu, but definitely check it out because it's really cool :) Remember, we love getting your feedback so let us hear it at Justask@mazufamily.com!

Another update hot 'n' ready! We have amped up security even more and turned off some permissions by default, so once a child and verified adult are connected, the adult has to go and turn on permissions before all of the Mazu magic is let loose. We also updated some art here and there, but not everywhere, and we've smooshed buckets of bugs for your happiness! Have any questions? Ideas? Comments? We've updated the way parents and children connect in app! Rather than using the email to link accounts we now use a User Code to connect them, which helps pave the way for some exciting improvements we have lined up. Safety Tools & Permissions:
It's now easier than ever to find the permission settings for each child account. Check out the updated Safety Tools screen, accessible via the side menu, and let us know what you think!
GIFs and Stickers:
Community chats and the Messenger now have an option in the chat bar to use GIFS! We also have redone all of our stickers! You really should hop into a chat and check this out, it's awesome!
Profile Updates:
Profiles have a whole new look to them, and we allow them to be viewed by other users. It's adding a whole new way to keep in touch and stay connected.
More Avatars:
There are a bunch of new avatars to choose from. If you're new to Mazu or just looking to keep things fresh, you have to check out these awesome new options!

Hey there, we have some more new stuff!
You can now manage your notifications better with options to turn on or off what you don't want to receive. You can also delete old notification either one at a time or all at once.
The village has received another makeover with better filtering options along the top and an updated search so you can find the stuff you want to see quicker!
There's also a whole lot of new avatars available in the avatar picker so you can change it up and pick something new and fun.

So much is new we don't know where to start...
Ok yes we do, with the Heart of Mazu! It's all new! The Heart of Mazu is now full of challenges for you and your friends to take with new challenges arriving daily! This is going to be fun :)

Guess what? Connections are now here!!! We have been working on this one for a while and it has finally arrived... you can now connect with other Mazu users and set a connection type such as family, friends or other. You can also tag your connections to help you keep track of everyone and can even give everyone a nickname! We are so excited to have connections in Mazu and we can't wait for you to start connecting with other Mazu users.
We've also squashed a bunch more bugs and you can now reset your kids' passwords through the Safety Tools section. Check it all out and let us know what you think!

- We've made it simpler to create an account and for parents to approve their kids allowing you to share and interact in Mazu quicker and easier.
- We have a new avatar library with lot's of cool, fun avatar images to choose from (plus more will be added in the near future) and you can still build your own if you want something that no one else has!
- Notifications work better now too! You'll be notified faster, and the experience is way smoother.
- Lot's more of those pesky bugs got SQUASHED!
