About Michigan Offroad Trail Map

This application is your guide to the 4x4 and snowmobile trails of Northern Michigan (Lower and Upper Peninsula).

Trail data is stored on the device, so if you are out of cell coverage you can still view the trail locations and your current location (underlying map data may not be rendered without data connection).

Disclaimer: Trail data is from the Michigan DNR and is not guaranteed to be accurate. Some trails are seasonal and lie on private property. I am not responsible for any damage caused or liability incurred while using this application.

This version should drastically fix some of the "random straight line" issues with the ORV trails. I am working on a similar fix for snowmobile trails.

This version fixes an issue with downloading or viewing snowmobile trails. I would recommend deleting the snowmobile trails you may already have from the map view before downloading new trails as there may be some duplication.

I actually fixed the bug on the Snowmobile view, for real. It won't crash anymore.

I contemplated firing myself, but then myself told me that it was a bad idea.

NOTE: There's a bug with some versions of iOS that is causing the Snowmobile view to crash after fetching the list of counties. There is a fix coming that will be released as soon as Apple approves it.

Added a top bar to the map view to make the controls more legible/visible.

Just in time for the winter riding season!

This is a complete application re-write. Now you have any of the Michigan ORV or Snowmobile trails at your fingertips. Add any of the routes/trails to the map and they will be there waiting for you when you hit the great outdoors.

I am working on consolidating the trails into groups based on their location. There got to be more trails involved with the app then when I had started designing the application. I hope this makes it easier for everyone to find and activate the trails that they are interested in. It should also help with overall app performance and speed.

Working on improving app speed. I was able to decrease the time that it takes to return to the map from the toggle view and from the waypoint addition view.

Added back in Houghton and Manistee area trails and routes. Somehow they got removed. My apologies
