Happy Birthday to us! We’ve been lucky enough to bring you ten years of new maps, game modes, and more since Mini Metro was first released in 2013. To celebrate our Miniversary, here’s one of our biggest updates yet! This update includes:
• Three brand-new maps! We’ve brought three of our most popular cities from Mini Motorways and their gorgeous colour palettes to Mini Metro. Another Shinkansen map is yours to enjoy in Tokyo. Or you can carefully traverse the rivers of Warsaw. If you want more than just rivers, the Portuguese coast is yours to explore in Lisbon, a tricky five-line map.
• An all-new photo mode! Export screenshots of your metro networks with decorative frames to show off your unique cities.
• A much-loved feature from Mini Motorways comes to Mini Metro in the form of a new way to capture GIFs. Export colourful animations of your metro networks at any stage in their growth to share with friends or just for bragging rights.
• An update to the text featured in the Miniversary button.
• This update also features various improvements and bug fixes.

• A brand new map featuring Boston, Massachusetts. This historic metro is celebrating its 125th anniversary, so come take a tour! See if you can recreate the “T” and connect the famous Boston Olde Towne, which spans 23 neighbourhoods, the Charles River, and more!
• Various small bug fixes and performance tweaks, including a small adjustment to audio processing on some maps.

• A brand new map featuring Central Asia’s first underground metro: Tashkent! Explore Uzbekistan’s northeast and design your metro system around the Chatkal mountains and Chirchiq river.

You can now make your mark on the Windy City: Chicago, on the shores of Lake Michigan in the United States. Chicago is famous for the "L", the elevated rapid transit system that originally opened in 1892.
Chicago has consistently been one of our most-requested maps, so we're delighted to be able to add it to our roster of cities - bringing the total to 25!

• Editing a line with no locomotives will no longer consume a spare locomotive.

We've got a new mode for you! Creative mode lets you take any existing maps and build your dream metro. Here is what's new:
• Add, delete, and reshape stations, as well as control how busy they get. No more circle stations everywhere!
• Unlimited locomotives, carriages, and interchanges.
• All lines start unlocked.
• An increased per-line locomotive limit.
It's all up to you. Build your home town's network in meticulous detail, make a massive city with an equally large fleet of trains, or construct geometric patterns and record looping gifs.

The passengers on your miniature metros are now smarter! We found and fixed a number of problems with how they planned their routes, so they are now more sensible and consistent when deciding which train to board. The other improvements in this update are:
• An extra bridge has been added to Mumbai.
• Line colors have been adjusted for extra contrast in San Francisco and colorblind mode.
• Double-tapping while placing an interchange no longer supersizes stations.
• Station location hints in Extreme mode now show up across all cities at night.

Hey commuters! We've been absolutely blown away by the reception Mini Metro's received on the App Store. Thank you to everyone who has given it a go, built a metro, told their friends, or posted a review!
We've been working our way through the critical bugs that we missed during testing. In this first update we've made the following changes:
• The Daily Challenge will no longer erroneously think you're offline.
• High scores stick! So when you get that bright shiny new top score in Cairo, you can rest assured it'll end up on the leaderboard.
• Profiles are pulled down from iCloud more regularly, so it won't take so long for multiple devices to sync up.
• The in-game leaderboards are now always readable! No more refreshing to get rid of corrupted text.
• In the city selection screen, tapping on the selected city will start the game immediately.
• The app will now prevent your device from dimming while a game is being played.
• A whole bunch of little bug fixes that we won't bore you with.
