Mobile Carbon Footprinting Description
This smartphone app helps individuals and communities understand and manage their carbon footprints due to everyday activities. We invite you to help us explore the potential of new digital technologies in sensing and understanding our daily energy use.

To see your carbon footprint, first complete the Entrance Survey (30 minutes) and run the smartphone app to automatically collect a two-week activity diary, while confirming the diary information in the app (less than 2 minutes a day).

This app was created by the Mobile Carbon Footprinting research group at the Department of Urban Studies and Planning, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).
