Issues Fixed
A duplicate key error was sometimes displayed when completing appointments because MobileTech was attempting to reuse an existing document ID. MobileTech now attempts to generate a valid document ID multiple times.
If the time of a labor transaction was within the time zone offset of midnight, the correct day of the week wasn’t sent to TimeTrack.
The Insurance signature tab was displayed for all call types, as long as VEI was registered. This tab is now displayed only for calls that have a call type of OUB.
Insurance signatures were included only on inbound inspection reports. The captured signature now is displayed on both inbound and outbound inspection reports, if VEI is registered.
Performance improvements
Multiple deadlock issues resolved
When you chose Complete, the focus didn’t always move to the next task in the list. The focus now moves to the next task.
Customer and location records sync only if they’ve been updated
Completed service calls are removed from the device the first time they’re synced
Vendor records aren’t synced when you load data
Tasks are synced before the task responses.
When TaskValidationLevel = REQUIRED in the setup options, an appointment couldn’t be completed until all tasks were completed. Now, the appointment can’t be completed until all tasks have a status other than the default task status that’s specified in the DefaultTaskStatus setting.
If VEI is registered, the Task pane didn’t show the wireframe image if multiple task attachments existed for the same task. The wireframe image now is displayed.
If VEI is registered, service call creation for inbound calls sometimes failed while syncing tasks and task responses to the middle-tier database. This has been resolved.
When AllowModifyNewEquipmentID = False in the setup options and no next number was set up for equipment records in Service Management, a sync error would sometimes be displayed if you tried to add an equipment record. MobileTech now tries multiple times to generate a valid equipment ID.
If the Auto Sync field was set to On Start on the client Setup page, duplicate Help menu items were sometimes displayed on the home page. The duplicate items are no longer displayed.
Invoice previews failed when FieldInvoicingTaxMode = Do Not Tax in the setup options and no tax schedule ID was assigned to the customer or location. The invoices now can be previewed.
Performance improvements for iOS job appointment syncs
Previously, you could enter an inventory item only once per service call. You can now allocate the same inventory item to different equipment on the same appointment.
The Reconcile Jobs utility in Job Cost no longer creates extraneous records in the WSMobileTechSync integration table
Character limit removed for Description field in time entry and time log
Task list performance enhancements
If you created a service call in Service Management and assigned a task that had subtasks to an appointment but not to a piece of equipment, the subtasks weren’t synced to the device. This issue also occurred if you assigned a task list that had tasks and subtasks to a piece of equipment on the appointment. The subtasks now sync to the device.
The Lock, Wipe, and Force Full Sync security options now are available in Resco Woodford.
