Another new feature that's been requested a lot: you can now create and save movies to different lists and choose how to name them. Save recommended films to watch another day, or the latest movies to watch at the theater. Edit and curate them how you like!

Another new feature that's been much requested - iTunes library integration. Movie Genius now reads the movies you have in your iTunes library (whether they're on the device or in the cloud) and allows you to rate them directly in the app. This makes it easy to rate movies you have already seen and get great recommendations for new films to watch as quickly as possible.

By popular demand a new feature that allows you to rate each film out of 5 stars (rather than simply 'like' or 'dislike'). Your star rating is then taken into account when generating the recommendations making Movie Genius more accurate than ever!

Version 4.0 of Movie Genius is a significant update bringing full native support for iPad users for the first time. Users of the iPhone and iPod aren't forgotten either as there are notable improvements to the performance of the app giving better and faster movie recommendations.

- News section is clearer about which items have been read and which are new
- More information on recommendations available for disabled genres
- A number of crashes have been fixed when navigating through movies
- Home screen no longer scrolls endlessly making it easier to see the genres available
- The upgrade pop-up appears less often and not multiple times at once
- You can now de-select Like, Dislike, Ignore and Save states
- Movies can no longer appear in more than one list in the Rated Movies section
- Deleting movies from Rated Movies section now updates the state appropriately
- It’s now clearer that the help panel can be scrolled downwards
- Upgrade cost is more clearly shown earlier in the upgrade process
- Background watermarks now align properly
