We are truly excited to introduce version 9.4.0, which brings fully customized filters.
Main features:
- Added Library Filters page available at the bottom bar of the app.
- Adding a new library filter is done via the Edit button at the top right corner of the Library Filters page.
- Any library filter can be assigned with a specific sort item.
- Any library filter can be assigned with a single or multiple album lists, such as My Albums, Wish List, Borrowed, or Previously Owned.
- This means that the entire library can now be browsed via filters (e.g. Favorites, Series, Tags, Artist, etc.) in the same way to the My Albums page.
- When adding a new library filter, it can be marked as a custom filter.
- A custom filter can include multiple sub filters which are all applied at once. For example, it can include Favorites, Dire Straits, and Vinyl sub filters.
- A custom filter can be used to filter albums by multiple tags, labels, genres, etc. at once.
- Any number of Library Filters can be created.
Minor features:
- Allow adding tags to any album in the library regardless of its location (e.g. Wish List or Borrowed list).

GENERAL
- Full iOS 12 support
- Auto detect URLs, phone numbers, and map locations in the Notes field. These will be displayed as selectable links and will open automatically in the associated app.
- Favorites field is now supported on any page. (Previously supported only on My Albums page)
PRODUCTIVITY
- Allow adding multiple albums via the barcode scanner to the Borrowed page.
- When adding an album from a specific filter such as a specific physical location, the Favorites filter, or a specific series, that filter will automatically be applied. For example, adding an album from the Favorites filter, will automatically mark that album as favorite. Similarly, adding an album from “Office” appearing under the Physical Location filter, will automatically assign “Office” into the “Physical Location” field.
- Allow typing and picking a new value, such as physical location, in a much more intuitive way. (Previously, the “Save” button had to be selected when a new value was entered. Now the new value can be simply picked from the list below)
- Added “Select All” / “Deselect All” when editing field groups at Settings > Import & Export > Fields, to quickly select the desired fields.
- Much improved visibility of frequent items in the Sort By page. (Several items were moved from the secondary to the primary page)
- Added swipe-to-delete gesture to the Search page.
LOAN MANAGEMENT
- Added “MusicBuddy Contacts” under the Settings page, which allows to import, export, and manage MusicBuddy contacts, all from a single location.
- Allow swipe-to-left gesture on albums in the “Loaned Out” filter to quickly return loaned albums.
- Allow swipe-to-left gesture on albums in the Search page to quickly loan or return loaned albums.
- Search results on the Search page are now divided into two sections: “Library” for albums that are currently in the library, and “Loaned Out” for albums that are currently on loan and out of the library. Previously My Albums section appeared in both cases regardless of the loan status. This should provides additional information about the loan status directly on the search page, and without brining the book details page.
EXPORT
- Added the long awaited PDF export option!
- Allow selecting between two different styles when exporting in HTML or PDF format. (A document style for a rich layout including cover image, and a tabular style for a much more compact layout)
- Much improved printing results.
SORT
