There’s also a complete redesign of the News functionality! It now uses Google News as the engine, so you’ll get more accurate, up-to-date news from many more artists than before. I’ve also integrated it directly into the artist’s profile, so it’s easier to find and use. You can also long press on any release to quickly access news from that artist.

And finally, the option to mark all releases as read it’s more visible in the Releases feed. You can access it from the left icon on the navigation bar.

3.2.0 2020-03-15
Now it's possible to filter concerts using a miles/kilometers radius from your current location!

Along with the update to list all the concerts from all the artists you follow, this update will greatly improve the Concerts feature in the app.

Note: although this new feature improves the experience of finding concerts with the app, remember to avoid large crowds to help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus!
3.1.9 2020-03-07
Last update introduced a bug, where user preferences for which release types to filter could be overridden everytime the app was launched. This update fixes that. Note that you'll need to redefine, just one last time, which types to filter. Now they'll stay as you configured.
3.1.8 2020-03-01
- Now it's possible to track concerts from all your followed artists at once!
- And the layout of information displayed on the Concerts list was improved.
3.1.7 2020-02-26

- Upcoming releases will no longer be marked as read when marking all releases as read.
3.1.4 2020-02-01
Hey everyone! There's two small improvements in this update:

- News algorithms were enhanced, so it'll be able to find more news, from more diversified sources.
- And song previews will play even if the phone's Silent switch is set to silent.
3.1.3 2020-01-24
Hey there! In this update I've improved the upcoming releases widget and fixed a bug related to venue location of concerts:

- Improve the height of items in the upcoming releases widget, so that two items fill all the available space in compact mode.

- Fix the identification and presentation of a concert venue location.
3.1.2 2020-01-11
This update contains small improvements in the management of read/unread, explicit releases, and iPadOS:

- If an album has both the clean and the explicit version, only the explicit one will be shown. Unless you have the "Hide explicit albums" parameter on, in which case only clean versions will be shown.

- Now you can long press on the Released/Upcoming segmented control to mark all releases as read.

- If you use the option to hide read albums releases, they will not be immediately hidden after opening them (so it'll work more like the Mail app).

- Upcoming releases will not be marked as read when you open them.

- Improved the context of action sheet presentation on the iPad.
3.1.1 2020-01-02
The first update of the year comes with many improvements and bug fixes:

- Improved the super compact display mode.

- Fixed an issue that required the app to be restarted after marking all releases as read.

- Now unavailable songs from upcoming albums will have a different appearance.

- Improved the list of cities on the Concerts tab.

- Improvements in Chinese translation.

And I finally bought myself an iPad this Christmas, so expect a lot of improvements in the tablet version of MusicHarbor soon!
3.1.0 2019-12-14
In the sea of music-related content, music videos have never docked at MusicHarbor's port. Well, not anymore, because this update introduces a whole new feature: music videos! Now, besides tracking new music, concerts and news, you can also track new music videos from the artists you follow.

Let me know of any features you'd like to see in future updates! You can do that by using the contact form inside the app or by leaving a review here in the App Store.
3.0.13 2019-12-03
This version improves the feed's refresh UI by replacing the old "Searching for new releases" modal for non-intrusive controls, contained in the navigation bar.
3.0.12 2019-11-28
A small, but useful improvement: now it's possible to add an album to a playlist, or music library, with just one tap. No more action sheet to choose between these two options!
3.0.11 2019-11-23
A lot of new features and bug fixes in this update, thanks to the awesome feedback you guys have sent:

- Added a new customization option to choose between two different sort options: by release date or by the date the album was found by MusicHarbor.

- Now it's possible to open the artist profile directly from a concert lineup.

- The Upcoming Music widget will now open on MusicHarbor the selected album.

BUG FIXES:

- Fixed a crash that occurred on the Artists tab, when performing an action with an artist while the search bar was active.

- Fixed an issue that could cause a previously paused preview to start playing when the app returned to the foreground.

- Fixed an issue that caused the search bar on the Add Artists screen to be misplaced when returning from the artist profile.

If you have a feature request or bug report, please send it to me via email or Twitter. And don't forget to rate and review MusicHarbor on the App Store!

Thanks!
Marcos.

- Added support for English (UK) and English (Australia), thanks to a contribution from Noah Maranesi!
- I've made some improvements on some of the alternate icons.
- Notifications now differentiate between explicit and clean versions.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the value of in-app purchases to be incorrectly formatted.
3.0.9 2019-11-17

- On Settings > General, you can choose between Apple Music and iTunes Store as the default app to be redirected to.

- Now it's possible to unfollow an artist directly from the Feed tab. Just swipe from right to left and tap Unfollow.
3.0.6 2019-11-05
This release contains three minor fixes, which will greatly enhance the user experience:

- Now releases will open directly into the Music app. No more redirection through Safari!
- You can now swipe releases to mark them as read/unread.
- And artists with names that start with a lowercase letter will now be correctly sorted.

Thank you for using MusicHarbor!
3.0.5 2019-10-31
Hey there! Previously, MusicHarbor sorted albums first by release date, and then by artist name. This sometimes caused new albums to not be visible at the top. On this update I changed the sorting algorithm to sort first by release date, and then by the date the album was found. Thus, new releases found will always be visible at the top of the feed.

If you like this improvement, be sure to leave a review here on the App Store!

Thanks!
Marcos.
3.0.4 2019-10-23
A new widget for the Today View, that you can use to quickly see upcoming music releases!
3.0.3 2019-10-03
- Now you can choose between three different layouts for the Releases tab: Regular, Compact or Super compact. Go to Settings to choose your preferred mode!
3.0.2 2019-09-26
I'm very excited about this update, because now MusicHarbor will be able to search for new releases 8x faster than before (on average)! In addition to the performance improvement, battery consumption will also greatly improve.

I have also fixed a bug that could prevent the feed of releases from showing newly found releases, when returning to the app.

3.0.0 2019-09-19
In this update we have support for the iOS 13 new features such as:

- Dark Mode: actually, since MusicHarbor already had a dark color scheme, this update brings a new light color scheme.

- All‑new design for iOS 13: now the artist profile and the release details will be presented as a sheet, that can be dismissed by dragging down.

- Support for Context Menus: all items such as artists, releases and concerts now provide contextually relevant commands using context menus. Just touch and hold (or 3D Touch) on an item to view the available actions.

- Improved support for background tasks: MusicHarbor takes advantage of the new background capabilities introduced in iOS 13. Now we'll update small portions of the feed throughout the day, in the background, and the whole feed when your phone is charging.

This version contains a small fix for the new Colorful icon option.
2.6.3 2019-09-02
This version introduces a new feature that enable you to change the app icon on the Home Screen!
2.6.2 2019-08-26
On this update I've spent an incredible amount of time rewriting the Settings screen. But it was worth it, because now Settings are looking great!

And now the release name will be emphasized, and the release date were moved to a nicer place in the cell.

I want also to thank everyone who supported MusicHarbor by purchasing one of the premium features via In-App Purchase! I'm preparing new features and improvements that you make MusicHarbor even better!
2.6.0 2019-08-17
Hello everyone! That's probably one of the biggest updates to MusicHarbor since version 2.0, so, get ready for:

- iCloud Sync: yes! Now we'll automatically sync the artists you follow between your devices. You can also manage the sync by yourself by going to the Settings screen.

- Advanced features through In-App Purchase: MusicHarbor has been, and will always be, a free, unlimited app. You'll always be able to follow as many artists as you want and track their releases, latest news and concerts. And I'll always try to avoid ads in the app as much as I can, because they disrupt the experience and are often a threat to user privacy. So I've found a better way to generate income and help to finance the app development: specific, power-user features that are available through In-App Purchase. For this release I've prepared two very useful features, which are:

- Permanently filter releases by type: this is an optional purchase that allows you to permanently filter the releases shown in the Releases tab, as well as in notifications.

- Customize formatting: this is an optional purchase that allows you to customize how releases are displayed in the Releases tab. You can choose whether to see the album or the artist name first. You can also change how dates are formatted (relative or absolute) throughout the app.

- Unlock everything: Unlock everything is a one-time purchase that unlocks all (current and future) paid features. With this purchase you'll be supporting the development of new features like custom icons, themes, news and concert notifications and more!

- And finally, this release contains a lot of minor UI improvements.

Thank you so much for using MusicHarbor!
Marcos.

2.3.6 2019-05-03
Some users may be seeing a "star" image where the artist profile picture should be. That's because Last.fm (the service MusicHarbor use to get the picture) stopped providing them. To fix this problem, this update changes the artist profile image provider to Genius.

It'll work as expected for new artists. And a future update will be released soon to fix for artists you started following since Last.fm stopped providing the images.

And I've also added another three news source to choose from: Complex, Lesinrocks and MTV!

There's also a bugfix for the progress indicator that could appear incorrectly in the feed.

If you like MusicHarbor, please leave a review on the App Store!

Thanks,
Marcos.
