Hello, Fellow Gamers! This update of MysticCompanion brings another huge update. Details can be found below.
Firebase has now been integrated with MysticCompanion! Say goodbye to the necessity of sharing a single device to use MysticCompanion to assist your game. In addition, game information is now stored on Firebase, freeing up space on your device.
3D Touch Quick Actions have been added to the App Icon that allow you to quickly start or join a game, using the deck you used in the last game you played.
The user interface has, once again, been overhauled to allow for the integration of Firebase as well as fix a few issues. Details can be found below:
• The deck selection on the game setup screen works slightly differently, now. To select your deck, simply tap on the deck you want and the screen will update. After that, you are good to join or start a game.
• The buttons on currency trackers were too small to be accurately pressed. Now, if you find that the increase and decrease buttons are too small to be pressed, you can just slide the appropriate label to the right to increase or to the left to decrease whatever currency you need to.
• All screens are controlled via the floating action button in the bottom, right-hand corner of the screen. This button can be used to start or join games, end your turn, access your settings, and quit the game. In short, it is now the end-all, be-all of controls for MysticCompanion
• On the game screen, there is now a panel at the top that displays the amount of victory from the pool that have been claimed, as well as the victory point goal of the game. In addition, this panel also displays the current user’s turn and the victory points each user has claimed from that game.
• On the game screen, you can now edit the victory point goal, mid-game, by tapping the victory point icon on the victory point tracker. This has been updated to allow for certain cards in the latest expansion of Mystic Vale.
