About NASA Navtex Viewer
This simple to use application is only for use with NASA Marine's NAVTEX BT-3 receiver. It communicates with the receiver using Bluetooth.
The app allows you to choose your Navtex area and choose which stations and message types to display. Messages are automatically consumed from the receiver and displayed in a simple message listing view with a preview of the message content. The full message content can be viewed in a message detail screen.
Some Navtex messages present tabular information which is best viewed using a fixed font. You can switch to fixed font in the message detail screen.
The application also provides configuration control of the receiver, allowing you to manage automatic International/National message switching, changing of the receiver name and PIN.

This version adds a night mode. This new mode, with a completely different colour scheme, is for use in low lighting situations. The new mode is accessed via the moon crescent button on the Messages screen. You switch back to regular day mode using the sun symbol.
This version also adds improved indication of new messages. New messages now retain their new message indication (brighter title) for longer, but this will be cleared if you click on the message to view the full message detail.
Status message handling is also improved giving a better indication of what is happening with the Bluetooth connection.

New functionality to highlight new messages loaded by the App. New messages will have a bright blue title bar in the Messages screen. The message content will also display the exact time a message was loaded from the NASA receiver.
The International/National/Both buttons have been removed from the top of the Messages screen and moved into a popup screen accessed via a small Int/Nat button. This frees up space on the top line of the screen to display more informative status messages explaining what the App is doing in terms of checking for and loading messages from the receiver.
