Natural Frequency of Vibration

This app presents natural frequency of vibration (f). The natural frequency is the frequency at which a linear elastic structure will tend to vibrate once it has been set into motion. A structure can possess many natural frequencies. The lowest of these is called the fundamental natural frequency. Each natural frequency is associated with a mode shape of deformation. Natural frequency can be defined in terms of cycles per second (hertz) or radians per second.
