About Ncrpt

Ncrpt is a simple, lightweight way to encrypt text with a password on your iOS device. Simply enter a password, enter some text, select either encrypt or decrypt, hit go, and view your results. You can also easily copy the results or load text from the clipboard to be encrypted or decrypted. Unlike many popular encryption algorithms, no additional characters are added to your string, keeping it lightweight, while the message still remains secure.

Encrypted data never, ever comes into contact with the internet or servers of any kind on our side of the app throughout the whole process, ensuring your data stays your data.

Ncrpt also supports up to 5 levels of encryption, allowing you to add another layer of security to your text. Past that, the data may be unreadable by Ncrpt. Before being recorded or sent, data should always be ran back through the program in "Decrypt" mode to check its integrity.

DISCLAIMER:
Your encrypted text will be just as secure as your password. While it is very, very hard to decipher encrypted text, Ncrpt should not be used for sensitive information, and we accept no liability for any information encrypted or decrypted with Ncrpt. Increasing the strength of your password will increase the strength of the encryption, but still do be careful.
