About necksoft
The necksoft™ App is designed and developed for head/neck posture training. The App is used accompanying with a necksoft™ posture training headset.
The integration of the App and the necksoft™ posture training headset realizes the monitoring and biofeedback techniques to correct poor head/neck posture, including (1) detecting head craning forward or hanging downward, and (2) using biofeedback mechanisms of vibration and sounds to set alert and warning when in poor head posture. Research results have shown biofeedback mechanism does significantly improve the poor forward head posture.
Neck and shoulder pains are frequently and mostly found in
* heavy 3C and computer users
* students
* office workers
* dentists
* flowline operators
* prolonged sitting workers
* and more.
The App provides real-time posture indicators of forward head angle, with respective to the vertical line. The App also provides the statistics of Good Posture (%), Wearing Time (min), and Response Time (min), in time scales of day, week, month, and year.
Intended Use
The intended use of necksoft™ is to monitor and detect head/neck posture and provide biofeedback mechanism to help correction of poor head posture for lifestyle or wellness applications. The necksoft™ products, systems and Apps are not intended to diagnose or treat any disease or medical condition.
