The App Neonatology: Capurro test allows you to estimate the gestational age of a newborn. The test considers the development of five different physiological parameters and combined scores give the desired estimate

This is the ideal method to be used if the newborn presents neurological depression.

The criteria evaluated in the test Capurro are:

1.- Ear Shape (Pavilion).
2.- Mammary Gland Size.
3.- Nipple Formation.
4.- Skin Texture.
5.- Folds Plantar.

Classification:
Postmaduro: 42 weeks or more.
Term: 37 to 41 weeks.
Mild Prematurity: 35-36 weeks.
Prematurity Moderate: 32 to 34 weeks.
Premature end: Less than 32 weeks.

This application can be used by doctors, nurses and anyone connected with health care in a simple and intuitive way, giving an immediate response by selecting options in each category.
