1) What is Nepcom?
Nepcom is the result a project that started in Barcelona in mid-2013 of the hand of a young multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in the world of new technologies and information security.
After several years of intense work, in 2016 Nepcom consolidated as the pioneer instant messaging application in the areas of privacy and security. This application aims to facilitate communication between professionals, especially those areas in which sensitive and confidential information is processed.
2) What differentiates us from other existing instant messaging applications?
Nepcom strictly complies with current European data protection legislation and incorporates robust security measures to ensure safe data transfers. The security and confidentiality of communications is one of the main Nepcom’s priorities.
Additionally, Nepcom offers a number of innovative features that allow users to communicate with each other in a very easy and predictable manner. In recent years, it is more and more usual to see groups of professionals (doctors, lawyers, police officers, judges, etc.) process and transfer sensitive and / or confidential data through unsecure channels. It is important to choose carefully the channel used to communicate and transfer this type of information, so that it is not involuntarily exposed to third parties.
With Nepcom, data security is fully guaranteed, ensuring the privacy of communications between users and avoiding third-party interferences in data transfers. Securing sensitive data transferred among professionals or between a professional and his/her client is a key challenge today, considering the globalized world in which we live. Today, it is easier to share or disclose information than 20 years ago, so Nepcom is born to face current social and technological changes.
