Kofax Business Connect 8.0 introduces several enhancements that improve business process workflow capability with ControlSuite 1.0. This release adds support for NFC/Bluetooth Low Energy multi-functioned device (MFD) authentication and Print Release support using the new Kofax Micro Card Reader. New features include customization of the user interface, on-device image editing and markup, and context sensitive help in the client application.
• Kofax Equitrac Integration: Kofax Business Connect is now part of Kofax ControlSuite and can submit print jobs to both Kofax Output Manager and Kofax Equitrac for powerful new workflows.

The Nuance Business Connect 7.2 release introduces several enhancements that improve business process workflow capability with ShareScan 6.0 workflow support in addition to audio & video capture when combined with the AutoStore platform. This release also includes new MDM support and additional support/administration capabilities that allows administrators to more effectively manage their mobile workforce and workflow server infrastructure.
•Nuance eCopy Integration: Extend an eCopy ShareScan server workflow to Nuance Business Connect. eCopy ShareScan 6.0 is required to integrate with Nuance Business Connect 7.2.
•Microsoft Intune MDM: Compatibility with the Intune Company Portal mobile device management (MDM) solution on Android and iOS devices.
•Audio & video capture: Allows users to capture audio only or video recording with their mobile device and have them available to attach to an activity for submission, such as in an email. Audio & Video capture is only supported in AutoStore.
•Custom Web form layouts:: Web forms on the mobile device can be customized to adjust how the forms are displayed on the device. The number of columns can be changed to provide a more desirable view of the information on the form. The form’s row height, font size and text color can also be customized to suit the needs of the form on the device.
•Client logging: Mobile users can collect client logs and send them to the Business Connect server for the administrator to view and analyze.
•Automatically delete images and videos after submission: Images and videos captured as part of an activity are deleted from the mobile device after submission. Automatic deletion is only supported on Android devices.
•External storage service access: Access files from external storage services such as iCloud for iOS and Google Photos for Android.

The Business Connect 7.1 solution is compatible with the following MDM apps:
- AirWatch Agent on Android and iOS devices
- MobileIron Mobile@Work on Android and iOS devices
- Good Agent on Android and iOS devices
Nuance Business Connect 7.1 also contains bug fixes, security updates and improvements.
