The ultimate objective is to have a feedback / feedforward culture where everyone across all levels dares to ask for / give honest feedback and also feedforward. Daring to ask for feedback / -forward is the key to building a feedback and feedforward culture. Role modelling becomes the multiplier. Experiments with giving feedback and feedforward show that top-down people dare to give honest feedback / -forward; bottom up that is often not the case because people fear for career implications.
Quite often we do not apply it structurally. The Onwards! app is the answer; real time, easy, fast feedback / feedforward. The app encourages individuals to ask for more feedback and feedforward and also to provide more (valuable) feedback / -forward to others. The user-friendly app allows individuals to describe goals (for behavioural improvement) for themselves and to create performance coalitions (small groups of people you invite) that can help them in achieving these goals.
On the inbox page you can immediately ask and give feedforward. When you ask for feedback / -forward you can describe the situation you want feedback / -forward on and you can describe your goal. You can give someone feedback or feedforward when someone asks you for it, or you can give this proactively.
When you set your goal(s) you can invite other people to help you achieve that. You can create a coalition whom you can easily and continuously ask for feedback and feedforward.
The Onwards! app also comes with a unique feature: learning via learning ripples. The intention of ripples is to help you reflect on how you are performing on a certain topic and how you can improve yourself. Ripples can also be the starting point - as a source of inspiration - for courageous team conversations.
