Oree

Oree is an app for users to discover places in different cities through their friends' recommendations. At Oree, we believe that restaurants with stellar ratings and reviews are not strong indicators of our personal preferences. Instead, we trust our friends and their recommendations. This is why we are building Oree, a space where friends connect, share and discover new places.*

How does it work?*

First, you will need to download the Oree app and create an account. Once you're on the main page, you can add your favorite places by clicking on the '+' button on the top right of the screen. These places will appear as red pins on your map, indicating that you have recommended those places. Then, you can "follow" your friends and their recommendations will appear as blue pins on your map. Clicking on the pins will display an info window with information about that place (Instagram profile, website, Google Map profile).*
