About Parent Cue

Raising kids with faith and character doesn’t have to be difficult. Parent Cue gives you four simple ways to connect with the heart of your child each week.

You already know a thing or two about life, character, faith, and what it takes to be the human you were created to be. If you’re like most parents, you want to pass on that knowledge to your kids whether they are three years old, seven, or seventeen.

But sometimes the day-to-day pace of parenting crowds out the intentional conversations we want to have with our kids. Where do we start? When do we find the time? How do we know if we’re being successful?

With Parent Cue, you never have to parent alone. Parent Cue is a team of family experts and everyday parents working together to provide the support you need so you can be the parent you want to be.

We developed the Parent Cue App to specifically help you raise kids in faith and character by strengthening the relational rhythm of your home, elevating important topics of conversation, and connecting you with local leaders who can support your family beyond this digital space.

To strengthen the relational rhythm of your home, Parent Cue App gives you four cues each week to help you connect with the heart of your child. Each cue is strategically designed for the age of the child you are raising and helps you develop family patterns that will enhance your long-term relationship with your child over time. .

To elevate important topics of conversation, the Parent Cue App gives you monthly topics on faith and character so you can incorporate big ideas into everyday life. To support each monthly idea, Parent Cue updates with weekly Bible story videos, memory verses, devotional experiences, and more based on the age of the child you are raising.

To connect you with local leaders, Parent Cue App partners with over 34,000 churches around the world. To find your church, or discover a church that partners with the Parent Cue strategy, use the simple “church finder” feature and sync your profile with a local ministry. Once you have associated with a church, you will receive all important updates, notifications, events, etc… from that ministry.

There are 936 weeks from the time a child is born until they turn 18 and move on to what’s next. These 936 weeks are unlike any other time in a person’s life. They lay the foundation of faith and character. They are the groundwork of establishing identity, belonging, and purpose.

Parent Cue helps every caregiver count the weeks, so you can make the weeks really count.

We’ve updated the Parent Cue app, but you probably won’t even notice. It’s some behind-the-scenes stuff about as interesting as doing dishes.
7.1.1
Dec 12, 2022
Here are some items we discovered and “exchanged” for something better with this new update:
• If you are connected to a church, we have improved the functionality of the social and website links.
• If you are connected to a church, we fixed some issues with the start/end time so you don’t sit in a parking lot alone or realize you should have picked up your kid hours ago.

We’ve spent our summer staring at screens. We’re adding some new features and squashing a bug. (No actual insects were harmed in the process.)

Here’s “What We Did This Summer”:

• Are you connected to a church? If they include content in the app, you can now add events to your default calendar.
• If you are connected to a church, and they put content into the app, you can also now see repeating events.
• If you want to break up with us, you now have a “Delete Account” option in the Account section—but we really think you’re going to miss us.
• We fixed a bug on the move up date in the child profile so your kid automatically moves up and gets the best faith content for their age/phase.
7.0.5
Jan 19, 2022
In this update, we’ve made it easier to sync with your church by adding additional search features. Also, we fixed a bug associated with end-of-the-year birthdays—after all, it’s difficult enough having a birthday over the holidays. (Is it a Christmas gift or a birthday gift?)
7.0.2
Sep 21, 2021
In this update, we’ve added new weekly Parent Guides to go along with each week’s content for preschool, elementary, and preteen—and a few bug fixes (they are gone for good, like your kid’s one sock).
7.0.1

In this update, we’ve added some bug fixes and minor improvements so when you want the app to do something, it will do it. (Unlike our kids.)

4.1.2
Jan 4, 2018
We just did a small makeover to the Parent Cue App. Don’t worry—it’s not super drastic. It’s pretty much the equivalent of replacing a few lamps, maybe adding some new furniture. The updated Parent Cue App now includes a side menu (accessible in the top left corner) that gives you access to:
• The Parent Cue Blog with challenging and inspiring articles to help you do family better
• The Parent Cue Podcasts full of conversations with parenting experts to help you parent your kids in their current phase
• A new “Invite Friends” option to tell your friends about the app
• Your child’s info in case you want to swap out a photo or update their info

So, sit down on that “new couch” and listen to a podcast or read an encouraging article. You’re doing a great job as a parent. Keep up the great work!

- FIXED: You can now watch videos in landscape mode! No more squinting at the screen. Hooray! Better for your eyes and your sanity.

- ADDED: Parents of Middle and High Schoolers, you’ll see a few new time-based cues in the mix, Bed Time and Meal Time. While we can’t promise your teenager will go to bed on time or join you around the dinner table, we can promise ways to connect with them during those times when they happen.
