About Pearson Employee Authenticator

Pearson Employee Authenticator provides employees, contractors, and partners with a safer, more secure way to verify their identity when they log in to their Pearson myCloud account.

It uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – your username and password, plus a touch or security code – to verify it’s you when you log into your myCloud account.

Once registered, it is simple and fast to use.

You can install the app on either your Pearson-managed or personal device.

Permissions required:

Camera access: to scan QR codes for MFA registration
Notifications: to receive the Touch to Verify notifications

Fixed issue where the app attempted to download the Pearson logo from myCloud each time you launched the app when Touch To Verify or Security Code was configured. If you didn't have connectivity or didn't enable network access in permissions, it would show a Forgerock icon in several locations. Now the app uses a local Pearson logo image file and will not attempt to download the logo.

Also fixed issue with TouchID/FaceID where the Cancel option would still send an approval message (instead of denying the access request).
