About Pierrot - What's a Pair?

Educational word-guessing game for toddlers and preschoolers. Build words pairs by combining related things, or by finding identical things. An essential part of the game is learning how to pronounce words in English by using the microphone to instantly evaluate children's spoken word.

Combining words
First, select one game from the carousel. Four words are randomly selected and displayed in the drawer at the right side or at the bottom of the screen. In the middle of the screen appears the main image representing a word that is to be paired with one of the images in the panel. Select the image that is related to the main image and drag it from the panel over the main image. If the combination is correct, visual feedback will be displayed and the pronunciation of the word will begin. Listen to the pronunciation then you repeat it until it's recognized.

Matching words
Finding identical images works in a similar fashion, but instead of having one image in the center of the screen, all four images appear for a short while and are then hidden. Select the image in the drawer that is identical to the main image and drag it from the panel over the main image. If the combination is correct, visual feedback will be displayed and the pronunciation of the word will start.
