With this latest update, we're excited to introduce to you Nod's new and improved Tracker!

After listening to your feedback, we've adjusted the feeding and sleep tracker to provide you with the following:

• Record wake-ups: you can now enter the number of times your baby wakes, and stays up for longer than a minute or two--no more need to track multiple sleep periods overnight!
• Edit tracking entries: we know not every entry is perfect 100% of the time, so now you can fix/edit tracking entries by heading to your event history, tapping on the session, and tapping the pencil to modify a prior tracking event.
• Add past sleep and feeding sessions: forgot to add an entry? We got you! Tap on "add a previous session" to add these quickly & easily.
• Record notes: in each feeding or sleeping session, you can now add notes to let you (or another caregiver know) more detail about how things were - did the baby spit up? was he or she cranky? Detail away!
• Last side fed / recent: now you can see on both the home screen AND in the tracker what your last side fed was on.

We also fixed some bugs.

Coming up next: A new onboarding experience to help you get faster goal recommendations.

Got feedback or a question? Please send a note to us at support@nodtosleep.com. We'd love to hear from you, and we read every single email.

Moms, Dads, babies around the world, we introduce to you... NOD INSIGHTS!

We’re thrilled to be launching some brand new ways to see your baby’s sleep and feeding data, and we’ve made some other updates to the app as well.

After listening to parents, Insights now has:

Your baby’s sleep and feeding patterns shown over 7, 14, and 30 days
Your baby’s night time, daytime and total sleep over time
Comparisons to see which days and nights they slept most (and least) on
Charts showing just how consistent your baby’s bedtime is (and when they wake up too)
More about your baby’s feeding habits, including how frequently they eat, breastfeeding duration, and how much milk (or formula) they are consuming
Check out these features, along with a quick snapshot of your baby by tapping on “View insights” on the home screen!

We also fixed the “last slept” and “last feeding” times to be precise – no more rounding. Finally, this app should be snappier in terms of loading and responsiveness, and we cleaned up some bugs.

Coming soon to Nod: An improved tracker experience and the ability to edit your entries.

As always, please send any feedback along to us at support@nodtosleep.com. We love hearing from you!

We resume our story with our little duck friend. The last time we checked in with her, she spent the night out in the field under her lean-to and beside the fire she had built from dead grass. Upon awaking the next morning, she built herself a to-do list, and squashed some bugs.

She then set out for a day full of fun and adventure.

Her first stop was to the henhouse. She always loved saying hello to the chickens, hens, and roosters, just as the first rays of morning sun were bathing the farm in a soft morning glow. She quacked a "good morning" to the flock, but not one of the hens turned her head to acknowledge. She tried again, but still nothing. Alas, she thought, then proceeded with her adventure.

As she embarked on a waddle across the open field towards the pasture, her tummy rumbled, so she diverted the start of the adventure to the farmhouse. There was always something yummy to eat on the front stoop in the morning.

After a light morning meal, she decided to head back to the henhouse to tell her friends about the deliciousness that now sat in her belly. With a few descriptive quacks, she thought she was sure to get their attention - they were, after all, gorging themselves at the time - but still nothing.

So the duck had an idea: if only she could write down what she was saying, especially about what she was eating, maybe the hens would understand.

So the duck developed the ability to add and record notes around her feeding and sleeping tendencies. Once she showed them to the hens, they bocked with excitement, eager to share in the joy of how and what she ate. She also squashed some more bugs in the process (because squashing bugs is always fun).

Once upon a time, a group of duckling siblings were out wandering in a field. It was a beautiful spring day: butterflies fluttered between tall meadow flowers, the sun warmed the air, and the blue sky looked majestic against the backdrop of the greening meadow. All was peaceful.

One of the ducklings became enamored with the coordinated movements of a large family of ants that were traversing a section of bare grass. So she stopped and chatted with them for a while as her brothers and sisters kept moving on towards a pond at the bottom of the hill. At once she realized her siblings were no longer in sight, and the sun was beginning to turn the blue sky a beautiful array of oranges, purples, and pinks.

She was a brave little duck, with streetsmarts quite uncommon for a farm animal, so she decided to camp out for the night. She built a lean-to from sticks and meadow grass in case the rain came. She dug a little hole to use as a latrine. She made a bear bag and hung her spare food from the branches of a nearby tree. She found some flint stone and built a fire from the dried out dead grass the ant family had been trying to carry back to their home. And she built a to-do list for the next day:

- Add support for bottle feeding within Tracking
- Add article search functionality
- Add ability to mark an article as "Read"
- Expand articles available for reading
- Update some styling elements

So the next day, when she awoke, she pushed the app update, to make all of her users just a little bit happier.

We don't like insects here at Nod, so when we find a bug, we try and squash it pretty quickly. We found a little hairy one that was preventing parents from entering start times of breastfeeds in the past (or future, for those who can time travel), so we zapped it into oblivion.
1.1.0
Mar 15, 2017
With this update, we’re adding in enhanced data views. Now, users will be able to see daily and weekly visualizations of their baby’s sleeping and breastfeeding activity.
