Planning Center Check-Ins Description

With your subscription to Planning Center Check-Ins, your church administrators have access to three different kinds of stations through this app.

- A MANNED station is run by a volunteer who manually checks each child in by name.
- A SELF station is a device where regular attendees can quickly check in their children by themselves.
- A ROSTER station is manned by a volunteer who checks children off of a class roster as they arrive at their classrooms.

Check-Ins is an application designed to help you safely and quickly check kids or volunteers into classrooms and track attendance for any event.

B) Cut every label
C) Cut after every group of people you check in (both B and C are helpful with continuous labels)

**The following label types will now print from the app:**
1. "Black/Red on White" DK-2251 (62mm x 5m) [800 series printers only]
2. "Shipping" DK-1202 (60mm x 86mm Non-continuous label)
3. "Name Badge" DK-1234 (62mm x 100mm Non-continuous label)

Other Highlights
• 800 series Brother printers can now be connected by using its specific IP address
• We've added better error messaging when trying to print to an unsupported label type
• Made some minor design & performance updates

• Support for Brother QL-810W wireless printer, Brother QL-820NWB wireless & bluetooth printer, and Citizen CMP30-IIBT bluetooth printer
• Fix for connectivity issues with Citizen bluetooth printers and devices with iOS 9.3.5. Once paired to your Citizen printer, your Station should show the option to select it as your default printer.
• Improvements to the way the front-facing camera is used should make it faster for barcode scans. The rear camera is still the best one out of the two, but this has some improvements.

• Adds support for customizing labels for all printers. Now you can print labels that include/exclude things like the Checked-in by person, the Security Code, and a Consecutive Number.

IMPROVED
• Now a message will pop up if your default printer is a Citizen brand and bluetooth has been turned off for your device. This should help prompt you to turn bluetooth on if you can't connect to Citizen.
• Clearer “privacy” messaging when you first use the camera, photo library, and bluetooth printer.

We've made a quick update that should allow you to access, test, and control which printers are being set. At the bottom right of each page you'll see a small gear icon. Click that and you'll see an in-app settings screen that lets you choose which printer you're connected to and even test the printer to make sure things are working as they should before you get going & checking people in.

Oh Brother, you'll be excited to hear what we've cooked up in this update. Check-Ins now supports the wireless Brother QL710W wifi printer! As long as this printer is on the same wifi connection as your application, the Brother can be set as the default printer.

This update also made some slight changes to the camera, so taking pictures of your brother and scanning barcodes will be a bit quicker.

"You better believe it, brother!" - Hulk Hogan, referencing this app update... probably.

• Front-camera access! You can now scan a barcode with the rear or the front camera. You'll see a switch at the top right to turn it into selfie mode.

• Keyboard auto-focusing now works every time you arrive on the search page, which means it'll automatically pop up whenever you need it.

• We've changed the print order of Citizen labels. Now the security tag will come out last to help you know when it's finished printing.
• We've added a toggle to change the Citizen label density in the iOS settings. Darker density will give more consistent labels, but print a bit slower than the default density.

• iPad camera used to change the orientation in odd spots. You'll flip knowing that the camera won't flip unexpectedly anymore.
