About Pukana Swipe

30 EASY
RACE THE TIME AND SEE HOW MANY MOVES YOU CAN MAKE IN 30 SECONDS.

Pūkana Swipe started as a homeschool project by Milla (8yrs) and Viktor (6yrs). Milla and Viktor based the app on the traditional Maori hand game Pūkana.

The Pūkana game is a kiwi classic! A traditional Maori hand game played in a group setting and often used as a team building activity. Google: How to play pūkana game.

pūkana
1. (verb) to stare wildly, dilate the eyes - done by both genders when performing haka and waiata (song) to emphasise particular words and to add excitement to the performance.

All sounds created and owned by Groovehouse Records. Groovehouse Records is a South Auckland music institution, with a growing roster of soul, R&B and Pacific reggae artists. Shout out to SIAVANI & GK - GiantKilla

nek minnit - used in the game
(next minute; alternatively negg minute or "nek minute") is a kiwi slang made popular by New Zealand skateboarder Levi Hawken. Google: "Left my scooter outside the dairy; nek minnit ..."
