Streamlined and Upgraded Tab Settings
We removed the “Home Screen” setting and updated the “New Tab” setting to include:
• Puma’s Picks (formerly “Trending”)
• NEAR and Aurora special (curated sites about these web3 protocols)
• Top Sites and Buttons only (no trending sections or discovery)
• Complete emptiness (search bar and a blank page)

It has been a while, but here we are with the new update, and it’s a big one.
• We have redesigned Coil integration completely. You might notice that sign in process changed. We are no longer using oauth but rather direct coil login. This increases security of the process.
• As a result, the account screen changed a bit too. You would notice that less information is present, but you can now go to the Coil account settings page from there.
• Another notable result of this update is support for YouTube and Twitch.tv monetization. We are very excited about this, and hope you are too!
For creators and Developers:
• We updated the monetization event flow. Now, monetization tag starts its life in the stopped state and `monetizationpending` event is fired to let you know that all conditions are met and monetization is about to start;
• `monetizationstop` event would let you know if monetization has to be stopped for any reason.
And of course we continue to strive to iron out bugs and improve performance to make your experience even better.

Introducing UI updates and performance improvements on iOS (v.2.0.28)
We added two new sections:
**Web Monetization Exceptions:** lets you manage the list of sites that you turned Web Monetization off for. You can always remove a site or all of them from the list to continue to support the creators.
**Charity Enabled Sites:** lets you manage which sites have Charity Mode enabled. By popular request we also added “Enable for all sites” option for the Charity Mode.
**Charity Settings:** We moved Charity selection to a separate screen to make it easier to access and manage.
We updated other item locations in the menu and added some more useful options here and there.
We made some changes to the monetization processing, that should help with memory usage on older devices. This should improve responsiveness of the application all together.

Here is how it works:
1. In Coil Account Settings pick a charity you want to support.
2. While browsing the site click Coil button and select 'Enable "Charity Mode" for this site'.
3. Thats it! Now Coil will stream payments towards the charity of your choice.
