- Only QNAP NAS devices running QTS 5.1.0/QuTS hero h5.1.0 (or later) support manually adding NAS accounts on QNAP Authenticator. An explanatory message appears when you attempt to add NAS accounts if your OS version is earlier than 5.1.0.

- We have adjusted some mechanisms in this new version to enhance pairing stability. Some users may need to add NAS accounts again, especially those who update from the app 1.1.0 to a newer version. Click "Add Manually" in the app or go to the NAS and follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup. If your previous connection stops working, you can still log in to the NAS via TOTP or email.
