Send a cached playlist from the phone to the watch (in the Cache Manager, select the playlist then tap "To Watch" below), then wait for the transfer (it can be very long, sometimes happens overnight). Progress is on the watch. Then play directly from the watch, no phone needed. As other music apps, it requires bluetooth devices connected to the watch for audio output (earphones or other paired bluetooth devices).
Be aware to not send a too big playlist on the watch (keep below 2 hours for start) and keep in mind that there are no guarantees that anything more than Medium bitrate will work after the transfer (or that the transfer happens at all).
