Groups and Courses have never been so flexible as they are now! Add that to numerous smaller improvements and bugs squashed and it all adds up to apps that we're proud to offer you to learn with. Raindance's Pocket Film School has also received a rebranding, and is now known as 'Pocket Raindance'.

Improvements to Course flow make how learners can navigate through courses more easily, plus a slew of other small improvements throughout the Apps for an overall better learning experience.

v4.0 is here and its a HUGE upgrade. We’ve decided to go NATIVE, meaning smoother, faster performance on your devices. This version also includes Courses - allowing students to learn remotely. Raindance offers some of the world’s best independent filmmaking tuition, but until now only in Raindance city hubs like London, Toronto or LA. App Courses include the ability to watch lectures repeatedly, and tests what you’re learning to award accreditation on a spectrum of subjects.

This new version contains many little fixes and improvements - most of which you'll never miss because they'll never get the chance to annoy you in the first place. Hooray for bug squashing!

What would Higher Education be without 1-to-1 Tutorials self-organised between Learners and their course Tutors? The trouble is, options until now for setting these up included a messy, uncertain combination of phone, SMS, email, institution message board and paper notes left on tutor’s doors and desks, and follow-up notes recorded on paper forms with carbon-copies (yes, that’s still a ‘thing’).

There’s a much better way of handling all this though - and that’s through a dedicated purpose-designed module within the Raindance app, which allows Educators and Learners to arrange and confirm their meetings and then Comment on their success after they’ve concluded.

Inevitably, this version also includes further bug-fixes and refinements. We never sleep, just so you can!
