Remember your Kindle library? Don't you wish you didn't have to leave it behind when you switched to Sol? Starting today, you can now read your Kindle books directly on your Sol Reader glasses.

To get started, open this app on your iPhone or iPad and navigate to Library > Kindle > Connect. Once you've authenticated the Kindle app through the Sol app, you can pick which books from your Kindle library you'd like to see on your Sol Reader glasses. Once you choose, sync your glasses and your Kindle books will be available for reading.

This is an experimental feature with the expectation that not everything will work perfectly at first, but know that if you report anything amiss to us, it's likely we'll be able to fix it without you having to upgrade anything on your glasses or your phone.

It's also important to note that not every Kindle feature is available just yet. Images, highlights (both your own and popular highlights), annotations, and other niceties are not yet built out on the Sol Reader. But if you want a feature from your Kindle to be available on your Sol Reader glasses, let us know in the Discord or shoot us an email (hello@solreader.com). Includes a reworking of how placemarks are synced between the glasses and the mobile apps. If you read your books in this app sometimes, you can expect that the placemarks are now synced more reliably in more books.

Introducing side-by-side page view, with a crisp paper texture and swiping between pages. Continuous scrolling is still the default, but reading page-by-page is now officially supported.

We're also introducing a new experimental ability to turn the page with your eyes. Enable eye tracking while reading in the iOS app to swipe pages by looking to the right or left of your phone/tablet.

This version also improves the reliability of Bluetooth sync for syncing your glasses when you're away from wifi.

Read all of your books and articles directly on your iPhone/iPad while staying in sync with your books on your Sol Reader glasses. You can customize the reading experience to fit your font size and layout preferences. Also supports dark mode.

In emails that Sol sends you for books that are ready for purchase, links to those books now open directly in the app.

You will now receive notifications for books you requested to read when they are available to read.

Upload your own EPUBs to your Sol Reader using the new Add EPUB integration.

This version fixes an issue where some long-time users were not seeing some of their long-ago archived books. Also, there's now a handy video on how best to adjust your Reader for comfort.
