RecordUp

RecordUp is a simple, easy to use app that enables recording and cloud-based storage of sound files using your iPhone or iPad.

Instead of filling up valuable space on your device, RecordUp automatically uploads recorded segments to DropBox. No subscriptions are required. You simply connect to a DropBox account of your choice.

RecordUp incorporates basic break detection that automatically breaks-up recording segments (i.e. auto-stop and start) depending on sound levels and duration.

Necessity is the mother of invention. We built RecordUp to record our music rehearsals and gigs without having to manually attend to the recording device between each song. By switching-on break detection, and adjusting time and sound level thresholds, RecordUp will record and automatically upload each sound segment, only deleting it from your device after successful upload. This conserves precious space on your device.

Each segment is time and date stamped. When trying to locate specific songs, for example in a setlist, look for larger sound segments in the "Record Up" folder that the app creates in your DropBox account. All recording segments are placed in folders within this folder.
